The episode begins with Isha attending yet another job interview. The interviewer tells her that she is willing to consider her for the position but needs to verify her background with her previous employer first. She calls Gayatri for a reference, only to be told that Isha had been accused of stealing two lakh rupees. Shocked by this revelation, the interviewer denies Isha the job.
Later that evening, Isha returns home visibly upset. Gayatri, who is having tea, asks Janki to bring a cup for Isha as well, assuming she has faced another job rejection. Frustrated, Isha confronts Gayatri and asks what she really wants from her. She accuses Gayatri of deliberately placing obstacles in her path. Gayatri, offended, questions how Isha dares to speak to her that way. Isha responds bluntly, saying Gayatri shouldn’t pretend to be unaware of her actions. This sparks a heated argument about the job reference and past accusations.
Suddenly, a group of men arrives at Ram Bhavan with court-issued stay orders. They announce that they’ve received legal permission to begin construction on the property. Jagdish informs Acharya that their client has served a notice of no intent to reclaim funds, meaning they will not be taking the money back but instead plan to build on the land. The lawyer instructs his team to begin taking measurements.
Acharya, deeply disturbed, declares that no one can touch the house while he’s alive. Overcome with stress, he begins to feel unwell. Seeing this, Jagdish requests the lawyer to give them some time, citing Acharya’s failing health.
Om tries to comfort Acharya, assuring him that they will find a way to save Ram Bhavan and won’t let it slip from their hands. After the lawyer leaves, Acharya and Janki turn to Gayatri for help, pleading with her to do something to save their home. Gayatri responds that there’s no need to beg—Ram Bhavan is close to her heart too, and she will not let their legacy be destroyed. However, she adds a condition.
Gayatri says she will help only if Om transfers his share of the house to her name. Shocked, Om tells her that only someone like her could make such a demand at a time like this. Jagdish also questions her, asking how she could even think of such a thing. Gayatri insists she won’t listen to anyone today. She explains that since she will be emptying her bank account to save the house, she needs assurance. If something happens to her, Jagdish, or Nyasa, she wants to ensure that no one abandons the house without settling the debts.
Om eventually tells Jagdish that if they fail to raise the money within the next 48 hours, he will give up his share of the property.
