The episode begins with Prerna asking Katha if she’s upset by Chandrika’s criticism. Katha denies it and says that the marriage is her responsibility, which she intends to fulfill for the sake of Mohan and Vandana. Suddenly, they hear celebratory sounds and realize the baaraat has arrived. Mohan and Vandana step outside, and Prerna excitedly tells Katha that her groom seems like a fun person since he’s even arranged a DJ. Katha comments on it but internally worries—what if her groom turns out to be someone like UV? Naina tells her to stop bringing up UV in every situation and assures her that Eshwar would never make a wrong decision regarding her life.
Outside, Eshwar furiously confronts UV for his behavior. UV mocks him, saying that although he promised to marry, he never agreed to follow traditional customs. Harshvardhan warns UV not to cross the line, but UV insults him, claiming he’s not a puppet like him. As Shlok and Charu try to diffuse the tension, Ambika steps in and scolds Ash and Omi for upsetting Eshwar. She then questions UV for mocking their traditions. UV coldly replies that he has no interest in marriage but is only here to fulfill a promise. Eshwar, fed up, forcefully drags UV inside the wedding venue.
Meanwhile, Naina and Prerna are shocked to learn that UV is Katha’s groom. Determined to inform Katha, Naina tries to rush to her, but Vandana stops them, asking for help with the groom’s aarti. While this happens, UV brags to his cousins that his plan against Eshwar is succeeding. He instructs them to call Sandy and tell him not to go live. Just then, Eshwar orders the cousins to come downstairs, leaving UV alone. They obey without question.
As Vandana prepares for the aarti, Eshwar suddenly orders the ceremony to begin and asks for the bride to be brought in. Confused, Vandana and Mohan stay silent. Vandana instructs Naina and Prerna to bring Katha. Before they can tell her the truth, Katha is brought inside with her face covered by a veil. Naina and Prerna try to warn her, but fail. UV’s family curiously watches, eager to know who the bride is. One of UV’s cousins comments on the veil. Katha quietly stands beside UV.
UV’s cousin encourages him to unveil his bride. Eshwar glares at them, but Rukmini also supports the idea. Reluctantly, UV lifts Katha’s veil—both of them, along with UV’s cousins, are stunned to discover they are marrying each other. Katha and UV scream in shock, criticize each other, and refuse to marry. The entire gathering is left speechless.
Chandrika lashes out at Eshwar, accusing him of bringing shame to their family. Eshwar pleads with her not to say anything negative on such an auspicious occasion. Mohan then turns to Katha and asks if she didn’t see the photo he had placed in her book. Katha recalls finding the photo, but it was covered in mud. She firmly tells her uncle that she will not marry UV. UV echoes the sentiment. Seeing this, Mohan urges Eshwar to intervene.
Eshwar then cryptically asks Rukmini what should be done to mix oil and water. Rukmini gestures that they should be stirred together. Eshwar smiles knowingly.
Just then, Tammy arrives with Mr. Agarwal and is stunned to see that Katha and UV are getting married. She questions her friends and UV’s cousins, but they all tell her to stay quiet, claiming they’re just as clueless. Mr. Agarwal comments that despite the ongoing enmity between Katha and UV after the café incident, Eshwar still decided to go ahead with the marriage.
The episode ends with both Katha and UV standing firm in their decision—not to marry each other.
