The episode opens with Dil playing in Shanaya’s room. Meanwhile, Shanaya enjoys a bath in her bathtub, humming a tune. Hearing her sing, Dil joins in and begins singing as well.
Drawn by the soulful voice, Raghav walks into Shanaya’s room, but finds it empty. Dil quietly hides and slips away unnoticed. Natasha spots Dil exiting the room and grows suspicious. She heads inside to check on Shanaya.
Raghav asks Shanaya about the singing, saying the voice deeply moved him. Shanaya claims it was her. Later, she excitedly tells Natasha that Raghav praised her singing. Natasha, playing along, agrees, and Shanaya leaves, feeling proud.
Natasha tells Raghav she always believed Shanaya had musical talent. Raghav smiles, saying that while Shanaya’s voice is the most precious to him as her father, the voice he heard earlier was different — it touched his soul in a unique way. Natasha recalls a PR team member once suggesting a background singer for Shanaya’s performance. She latches onto the idea, vowing to find “that boy” — unaware it was Dil.
Later, Dil confides in Billi about wanting to talk to Raghav about her parents, despite being scared. After Billi goes to the dining table, Dil gets an idea. She prepares her mother’s special dish — jalebi sandwich — and sends it to Raghav using Shanaya’s skateboard. Raghav finds the dish, assumes Shanaya sent it, and eats it. The taste instantly reminds him of Nandini’s cooking, and he’s left wondering who made it.
Seeing Raghav smile, Dil decides to go to him — but Shanaya catches her in the act and accuses her of stealing the skateboard. They argue, and in the heat of the moment, Dil pushes Shanaya. Raghav steps out, witnesses the incident, and scolds Dil harshly, asking if she was never taught how to behave with girls. Meanwhile, Natasha searches for Dil.
As punishment, Raghav makes Dil stand barefoot on the hot ground outside, telling her to stay put until she learns how to behave. When she tries to speak, he silences her with a warning not to move. Despite the burning pain in her feet, Dil stays still. Watching this, Natasha thinks to herself, “This is the voice that touched Raghav’s soul. I’ll take it and make it Shanaya’s.”
Soon, Mannu and the rest of the family come out. Shanaya tells them that Raghav punished Dil. Concerned, they ask Dil to come inside and have some water, but she refuses — determined to obey Raghav’s orders. Even Raghav’s mother urges her to come in, but she remains firm. Padmini watches silently, recalling a moment when Dil had once helped her.
Natasha, seeing an opportunity, plans to use Dil’s fear of Raghav to keep her away from him — so that Shanaya can get closer in his eyes.
Later, Padmini encourages Raghav to perform at an upcoming concert for his fans. Chandan supports the idea, suggesting he compose a new song after two years of silence. Natasha proposes a duet between Raghav and Shanaya, claiming it would be a guaranteed hit. Raghav expresses doubt, saying Shanaya isn’t ready yet. Natasha counters confidently, reminding him of the voice he heard that morning and challenging him: “If I prove that it was Shanaya, promise me you’ll sing with her.”
