The episode begins with Vikrant confronting his family, asking how they could forget their humanity. He acknowledges their dislike for Mannat and Shruthi, but reminds them that Shruthi is still recovering from surgery. “How could you treat her like this?” he questions. Neetu defends herself, blaming Raveena for starting the argument, while Raveena claims Neetu pushed her.
Vikrant scolds Neetu, asking what has come over her. Turning to Kiran, he says, “You’re the elder here. How could you treat Shruthi this way?” Kiran defends her actions, saying she couldn’t stand seeing Shruthi and Mannat cross their limits. Vikrant responds that the family is overreacting and asks Neetu how she would feel if she were in Mannat’s place. “Shruthi is in pain, her daughter is in jail, and now you’re trying to throw her out of the house. That’s not fair.”
Aishwarya, watching all this, becomes worried. She realizes Vikrant still cares for Mannat, even though she’s physically distant. She thinks to herself, “I need to do something before he drifts further.”
Aishwarya confronts Vikrant, questioning his concern for Mannat. “Who is she to you? Hasn’t she already ruined the Mezbani name? We should be focused on preserving our family’s reputation, not her.” She adds that, as Mallika’s mother, she feels hurt by his constant defense of Mannat. “Don’t forget—you’re Mallika’s husband,” she says.
Vikrant reminds her that she doesn’t need to keep saying that. He clarifies that Mannat is his business partner and deserves respect. “Didn’t I stand by you when Bobby was accused of a crime, until the evidence pointed to him? You tried to protect him for the sake of our family’s name—now I’m doing the same for Mezbani.”
Aishwarya accuses Mannat of causing all the chaos, but Vikrant counters, pointing out that Mannat had taken shares from Aishwarya to raise money for this investment—she wouldn’t sabotage it. Kiran insists Mannat wants to destroy them. Vikrant points out that Mannat is in jail, accused of attempted murder. “Who would willingly put themselves behind bars just to get revenge? Something doesn’t add up.”
Aishwarya continues trying to turn Vikrant against Mannat, but he warns everyone not to hurt Shruthi again. If they try to force her out, he threatens to take full blame for everything and surrender to the police. Aishwarya, frustrated, tells Neetu that Vikrant is blindly supporting Mannat.
Meanwhile, Mannat calls Shruthi, but Mallika answers the phone. When Mannat asks about Shruthi, Mallika switches to video call and tells her everything that happened at home, trying to provoke her. Furious, Mannat warns Mallika to stay away from her mother or she won’t spare her or Aishwarya. Mallika taunts her, reminding her that she’s in jail and helpless. She accuses Mannat of threatening to kill Shruthi. Mannat yells, insisting they framed her. Mallika ends the call, pretending to care for Shruthi in front of Vikrant, who thanks her. Gagan informs Vikrant that he has already spoken to the lawyer about Mannat’s bail. Mallika thinks, “He’s still helping Mannat… He doesn’t even know she’s Mom’s illegitimate daughter.”
Vikrant talks to Shruthi, who tells him that Mannat is innocent and would never harm anyone. Vikrant apologizes on behalf of his family. Shruthi says that Mannat still believes in him. He notes that she seems changed. She tells him she lost her protective kala dhaga.
Later, Varun informs his boss that Aishwarya has set Mannat up well—there’s no evidence against her. The boss replies that he’s waiting for a clue against Sonia.
Vikrant then visits Mannat in jail. She tells him she didn’t harm the children and has no idea how the food was poisoned. She insists Pintu uncle is innocent and swears that nothing was done intentionally. Vikrant notices wounds on her forehead and hands, realizing the police beat her. He becomes furious.
Gagan arrives and expresses concern. Mannat says she’s more worried about Shruthi. Gagan encourages her and promises to take care of her mother. Mannat makes a video call to Shruthi, who praises Vikrant for taking care of her. He ties a kala dhaga on her leg and affectionately bumps foreheads with Mannat to ward off the evil eye. Mallika, watching this, grows jealous, and Aishwarya tries to calm her.
After Vikrant leaves, Aishwarya and Mallika confront Mannat and mock her by showing the video. Mallika threatens to harm Shruthi unless Mannat transfers the shares back to Aishwarya. Mannat refuses and angrily reveals, “Aishwarya is my real mother.” Aishwarya tries to calm her, unaware that someone overhears the revelation.
Later, Gagan tells Vikrant that love is the foundation of any marriage—and he knows Vikrant doesn’t love Mallika. Meanwhile, Aishwarya and Mallika continue to threaten Mannat, pressuring her to sign over the shares.
