The episode opens with Raghav speaking to Nandini’s diary, telling it that her birthday holds a special place in his heart. He gently closes the book. Nearby, Dil watches him and thinks, “Raghav looks happy today, celebrating someone’s birthday. Maybe this is the right time to ask him to help me find my parents.”
Raghav notices Dil and approaches her. She tries to run, but he says “Barf,” and she instantly freezes like a statue.
Meanwhile, Natasha is searching for Dil. Raghav, now facing the frozen Dil, asks what he should call her. He wonders why she’s not resting and why she came to his room. “Everyone fears me. Don’t you?” he asks softly. Then, noticing the lily in her hand, he places it gently in her cap. Saying “Paani,” he turns to leave. Dil unfreezes and quickly says “Barf,” freezing Raghav in return.
That one word stuns Raghav, stirring old memories of playing the same game with Nandini. A flood of flashbacks overwhelms him. Dil walks up, takes his hand, and says, “My name is Diljeet. Please help me find my parents. If you agree, just say it with your eyes.” Raghav slowly nods. Dil confides, “I’m in a big problem.”
Just then, Natasha arrives and fears Dil might reveal her plan to use her voice for Shanaya. She quickly intervenes, dragging Dil away from the room. Before going, Dil says “Paani” to release Raghav from the frozen state.
Natasha locks Dil in a room and tells her to stay silent. Dil thinks to herself, “How can I talk to Raghav now? How will I celebrate my mother’s birthday?” Later, when Mannu says she’s taking food to Diljeet, Natasha stops her, saying she’ll take care of both Diljeet’s and Raje’s meals.
Meanwhile, Raghav is happily cooking in the kitchen. “Just like every year, I’m making Cheeni Wali Roti for your birthday, Nandini. I hope you’re happy wherever you are,” he says to himself. Chandan’s wife notices the many rotis and offers help, but Raghav declines, saying he wants to taste them himself.
Elsewhere, Dil looks at her mother’s photo, unsure how to celebrate her birthday. Spotting the lily in her cap, she prays to God, “Please send me a Cheeni Roti cake too.” Unaware, Raghav has already made it for Nandini. His mother walks in and asks what he’s doing. He casually replies, but when she mentions her blood pressure is high, he rushes off to get her medicine. While he’s away, his mother notices the stack of Cheeni Rotis. Natasha swoops in, pretending to feed the crows with the leftovers. Raghav’s mother tells her to ask a worker to do it. Natasha agrees and instructs the staff to collect the stale rotis. By mistake, they pick up the Cheeni Wali Roti cake instead and deliver it to Dil, thinking it’s leftover food.
Back in the kitchen, Raghav returns to find only stale rotis and wonders where the Cheeni Wali Rotis went.
In her room, Dil is overjoyed to see the rotis arranged like a cake. She lights a candle and celebrates her mother’s birthday with the “Cheeni Cake.” Meanwhile, Raghav eats the stale rotis, recalling Nandini’s words: “God gives us what we deserve at the right time.”
Natasha, watching Raghav from a distance, doesn’t notice anything unusual and leaves, thinking Dil will now obey her after being fed such bad food. But later, the truth dawns on her—Dil received the Cheeni Roti cake, while Raghav got the stale leftovers.
Dil looks at her mother’s photo and promises, “With Raghav’s help, I’ll find you and Dad soon.” Overhearing this, Natasha decides to twist the situation for her benefit. She tells Dil, “I’ll help you find your parents—but in return, I want your voice.” Desperate, Dil agrees.
