The episode opens with Lakshmi and Gayatri confronting Prema, urging her to stop spreading false accusations. Prema insists she’s telling the truth, claiming that Jia was pregnant with Karthik’s child. She accuses them of not believing her and presents a video in which Jia confesses she is carrying Karthik’s baby and hopes he will accept her. Lakshmi dismisses the video as fabricated, asserting that Karthik didn’t kill Jia and that she was never pregnant with his child.
Prema counters, saying Lakshmi has no idea what truly happened in the past six months, and emotionally declares that she lost not only her daughter but also her unborn grandchild. Gayatri demands Prema stop blaming her son, but Prema remains resolute, vowing to make Karthik pay. Lakshmi firmly defends Karthik, promising to secure his bail, as time is quickly running out.
Meanwhile, at the police station, Karthik pleads with the inspector to listen to him, but the inspector refuses, pointing to the overwhelming evidence against him and declaring that no one can save him now. Lakshmi arrives and argues for Karthik’s innocence. She reminds the inspector of Jia’s past actions—how she falsely accused Karthik and even tried to poison him during Teej.
The inspector questions whether Lakshmi believes Jia took her own life out of revenge, pointing out that the murder weapon was found in Karthik’s possession. A constable then brings in a bag containing a pregnancy test and medical reports confirming Jia was pregnant. The inspector speculates that Karthik may have killed Jia to conceal the pregnancy.
Karthik, visibly shaken, tells Lakshmi that Jia never informed him about her pregnancy and pleads with her to believe him. The inspector grants Lakshmi five minutes alone with Karthik.
During their conversation, Karthik breaks down, saying he can’t bear the thought of Lakshmi doubting him. Lakshmi assures him of her unwavering trust and promises to uncover the truth and clear his name. Karthik expresses guilt for the pain he’s caused her, but Lakshmi remains determined, vowing to fight for his release with dignity.
Back at the Kothari residence, media reporters swarm Gayatri with questions. In tears, she defends her son’s innocence and tells them to speak to Lakshmi, claiming she always hated Jia. Umesh overhears and pulls Gayatri aside, scolding her for turning suspicion toward Lakshmi. Despite this, Gayatri insists that Lakshmi could be responsible.
Meanwhile, Lakshmi investigates the concert venue and obtains CCTV footage from a vendor. In the footage, Jia and Karthik are seen arguing. Just then, an elderly woman collapses nearby, and while Lakshmi rushes to help her, the footage is mysteriously deleted. Back at home, Umesh criticizes Gayatri’s behavior, and Sanjana agrees, acknowledging that Gayatri was out of line.
Lakshmi realizes that someone intentionally erased the footage. Shortly afterward, she’s attacked by a group of angry women who confront her with the viral video of Gayatri accusing her. They attempt to smear mud on her face, but Lakshmi manages to escape and hides. Sanjana calls, urging her to return home due to the growing danger, but Lakshmi refuses, determined to stay out until she finds evidence to prove Karthik’s innocence.
She later visits the hospital, only to find police already present. The inspector tells her to leave, but Lakshmi reveals the deleted CCTV footage and insists a third person must be involved. She asks whether any unknown fingerprints were found at the scene. The inspector declines to comment, but a doctor discreetly confirms that additional fingerprints were indeed discovered. However, the inspector later asserts that only Karthik’s prints were found on the murder weapon, not even Jia’s—calling Karthik a liar.
Lakshmi is left deeply suspicious, sensing that a much larger conspiracy is at play.
