The episode begins with UV’s cousins thanking him. Pari checks on UV, asking if he’s okay. UV responds that he is fine but adds that he has no interest in pointless activities like dancing. He says he wants to go to his room to change and rest, but Shlok stops him and tells him to stay where he is.
Meanwhile, Naina informs Katha that she needs to leave. Katha admits she’ll feel lonely once they’re gone. Katha’s family overhears this. Vandana reassures her, saying that UV’s large family will shower her with love and make sure she never feels alone. She blesses Katha, expressing hope that she’ll be happy in UV’s home. Mohan agrees. Katha, however, recalls UV saying he doesn’t even want to see her face. She glances at UV, and he looks back at her.
Eshwar assures Katha’s family not to worry, stating that Katha is now part of his family. The family learns that Katha once made Eshwar drink neem juice, and Vandana remarks that it shows how much Katha cares about her loved ones. Mohan then requests Eshwar to send Katha and UV for the pagphere ritual. Katha remembers UV saying he wouldn’t participate in any rituals and silently hopes her parents don’t find out the truth. Her family then takes their leave.
Later, Shlok asks Charu to bring Katha to UV’s room for the first-night tradition. UV tries to avoid it by saying he’s hungry and asking Shlok to hand him the laptop. Shlok insists UV can get it from his room. As UV enters, Shlok quickly locks the door from outside. UV demands he open the door and then notices Katha already in the room. Realizing Shlok tricked him, he becomes annoyed. Katha asks where he’s going. UV snaps that he won’t stay in the room if she’s there and accuses her of planning all this.
Outside, UV’s cousins question Shlok about what’s happening inside the room. Charu tells them not to interfere, saying UV and Katha need their privacy.
Inside, UV notices a cup of coffee, takes a sip, and immediately spits it out. Katha tells him she replaced the coffee with an herbal drink because coffee would have kept him awake. UV angrily asks what she gave him. Katha calmly explains it’s an herbal mixture that helps with sleep.
Charu and others burst into the room. She admits she helped Katha switch the drink. Shlok tells UV to accept that Katha genuinely cares for him.
Frustrated, UV asks why he can’t be left in peace. He blames Katha for everything and lashes out. Omi tries to calm him down, but UV snaps, saying he can’t even tolerate seeing Katha’s face. He accuses her of faking everything and tells her to stop her drama. Chandrika then sends everyone out and tells Katha to lock the door from inside before leaving.
Left alone, UV questions what Katha plans to do next. Katha tries to explain, saying he’s misunderstood her. UV reminds her of how she shut down his café and got him arrested. He demands to know what more she has in store for him.
