The episode begins with Dadabhai expressing his wish to see Jhanak fulfill her dreams. Jhanak shares that she wants to study hard and find her father, so she can ask him why he abandoned Nutan and never accepted her. Dadabhai asks if there’s anything else she wants. Jhanak replies that she wishes for Rishi and Aditi to get married and live happily. Dadabhai blesses her, tells her to recover soon, and admits he can’t bear to see her in this condition.
Meanwhile, Rishi tells his family that Aditi has ended their relationship and doesn’t want to marry him. He questions why they didn’t stop Dadabhai, clarifying that he never wanted Jhanak to die and was willing to pay for her treatment, but Dadabhai refused to listen. Tanushri says he should have been honest with them earlier. Surjeet suggests calling Dadabhai. Payal phones him, puts the call on speaker, and asks when he’ll return.
Dadabhai informs Payal that Jhanak is recovering after being shifted to another hospital for better care. He says he can’t turn away from his responsibilities like others. Surjeet urges him to come back soon because Aditi is mentally disturbed. Dadabhai responds that Aditi has all of them for support. Rishi accuses Dadabhai of ruining his life, saying that he needed him, but instead, he chose to be with Jhanak. He blames Dadabhai for making him the villain in Aditi’s eyes by going to Simulboni.
Dadabhai says he had trusted Rishi deeply, but Rishi failed to be a good man. He declares that no one can pressure him into changing his decisions and insists he will do what he believes is right. He tells Rishi that he doesn’t deserve Jhanak, calling her a better person than him, before ending the call.
Later, Dadabhai settles Jhanak’s hospital bills. Parashar thanks him for his help, and Dadabhai says Jhanak is like his own daughter. Nutan adds that Jhanak received the best care because of him. Parashar assures Dadabhai that he will repay the money. Sakhi points out that Rishi hasn’t even called to check on Jhanak. Jhanak defends Rishi, saying she already told him that, as a government officer, he is always busy.
Parashar insists that a wife should still be Rishi’s priority. Jhanak replies that national service must come first. She then tells Dadabhai she will show him around Simulboni. Putul urges her to rest, but Dadabhai asks her to come with him. Jhanak says he already knows that’s not possible. When Parashar asks why, she explains that she has exams coming up. Sakhi suggests she could go to Kolkata afterward, but Jhanak says she wants to stay with Nutan. Parashar tells her she can study in Kolkata, and Dadabhai promises to get her admitted to the best college, confident she’ll score well. Sakhi praises Jhanak’s in-laws, but Jhanak silently thinks that while Rishi’s family is good, she doesn’t truly belong to it.
