The episode opens with Katha praying for God’s help. Gathering her courage, she tries to draw people’s attention to her stall. Two men taste her tea, praise it, and buy more items from her, lifting her spirits.
Meanwhile, UV arrives at the fair and asks his friends for updates. Learning that no one is visiting their stall, he grows worried and frustrated. Sandy explains that the competition has increased, pointing out a nearby stall attracting large crowds. UV tries to see who is running it but fails, only hearing from others that they are serving herbal drinks. Irritated, he mutters that both “Gobar Devi” and herbal drinks seem determined to ruin him.
Just then, Aarya approaches and invites UV to try the herbal drink. He agrees, orders one, and turns—only to come face-to-face with Katha. Both are stunned.
UV lashes out, accusing Katha of tarnishing the Jindal family’s reputation by selling tea on the roadside. He orders her to shut the stall, but Katha refuses, questioning what right he has over her. Angered, UV tells the gathered customers to leave, but Katha stops them, insisting she will serve them herbal drinks. Aarya defends Katha, which provokes UV to tell her not to interfere. He then forcibly drags Katha toward his car. Nearby, Tammy enjoys the confrontation, convinced Eshwar will now dislike Katha even more.
Katha resists, reminding UV that he himself vowed to end their marriage within six months, so he has no right to dictate her actions. UV, furious, forces her into the car and drives off. Watching from a distance, Tejas realizes UV and Katha are husband and wife and vows to create trouble for them in retaliation for their earlier actions against him.
At the Jindal house, Eshwar is instructing the family about the upcoming Janmashtami puja when he asks about Katha’s whereabouts. UV arrives with her, and the family reacts angrily to his behavior. UV announces that Katha was selling herbal drinks at the Independence Day fair, shocking everyone. Chandrika criticizes Eshwar for once again making a poor decision, while UV taunts him for not confronting Katha despite her defying his rules. He pointedly reminds Eshwar of his mother’s suffering years ago, leaving Katha stunned.
Eshwar demands to know if UV’s claims are true. When Katha confirms, his anger deepens. He questions why she took such a step when he is there to support her. Harshvardan also challenges her decision. Katha explains that while she has everything in this house, she wants to be independent, so she decided to start this business. She admits she doesn’t understand why they’re all reacting so strongly.
UV interjects, saying Katha has done nothing wrong—but reveals that Eshwar despises women in the family working or running businesses. Eshwar agrees, declaring that UV’s own mother proved him right by leaving her husband and son in pursuit of money and freedom. Enraged, UV warns him not to speak against his mother, but Eshwar coldly replies that the truth is always bitter.
