The episode opens with Raghav playing the guitar, lost in thought. He recalls Natasha’s words—that he should go to Shanaya only when he can give her his complete attention. Just then, he notices Shanaya’s photo slipping and quickly holds it.
Meanwhile, Dil struggles with whether to reveal the truth. To decide, she plays a game, leaving the choice to fate, and the result suggests she should speak up.
Chandan enters and sees Raghav holding Shanaya’s picture. He remarks that although Raghav loves Shanaya deeply, he has imposed such a harsh condition on her. Raghav explains that since all the elders are hiding the truth from him, he had no other choice. Chandan reminds him that Shanaya is just a child. Raghav, agitated, confesses that he constantly hears a voice urging him to uncover its source—otherwise, it will remain unknown forever. Chandan asks him to calm down, but Raghav retorts that everyone hides the truth from him, yet he is expected to stay composed.
Elsewhere, Dil hides from her uncle, who is searching for her in the house. Manu senses someone’s presence and instructs the guards to investigate. Dil’s uncle, growing anxious, fears being caught by the police before finding her.
At home, Saloni argues with Raghav’s mother for breaking her promise to take her shopping, as she now plans to visit her friend Gupta Ji instead. Raghav’s mother defends her decision with an example from the Bhagavad Gita, saying it is right to break a promise if done for a righteous cause. Overhearing this, Dil decides it’s time to tell Raghav the truth.
Dil goes to Raghav and notices his injured hand. She brings turmeric and bandages from the kitchen and tends to him. Her comforting words remind Raghav of Nandini, easing his pain. She praises his voice, and Raghav suggests they play the piano. Seeing him struggle with his injury, Dil helps him play, and he feels genuinely happy in her presence.
Just then, Maama overhears the melody and recognizes it as Nandini’s song, suspecting Dil is in the house. Natasha arrives upstairs and finds Raghav and Dil playing together. Raghav compliments Dil’s piano skills and urges her to sing with him, certain she has a beautiful voice.
Meanwhile, the school calls Natasha, informing her that Shanaya is upset and asking her to come. Natasha, far from home, tells them to contact Shanaya’s father instead.
Back with Raghav, he begins singing Tu Dhadkan Hai and encourages Dil to join in. Suddenly, he receives a call from the school and rushes there after learning Shanaya is in tears.
Afterward, Natasha meets Dil. Dil apologizes, but Natasha tells her it isn’t needed since she didn’t sing. Natasha claims she just received a call from Dil’s mother, who assured her she is fine. She asks Dil to promise never to reveal the truth to Raghav or sing before him, promising in return to arrange a meeting with her mother. Dil accuses Natasha of lying, saying she doesn’t even know her mother and only wants to separate her from Raghav. Natasha denies this and produces one of Nandini’s belongings from her bag to convince Dil she truly knows her.
