The episode begins with Kusum asking Pratima if the girl chosen to break the Dahi Handi has arrived and when the program will start. Pratima assures her that Mangal is handling everything. Just then, the sound of drums fills the air, and everyone steps outside to see Mangal joyfully playing the dhol with her team. To their surprise and delight, she prepares herself to break the Dahi Handi. Kapil proudly declares that Mangal is capable of anything. Kusum, Pratima, and Shanti feel proud and happy, while Monisha smirks secretly, knowing this is exactly what she had planned. She deliberately breaks a glass, hides the shards inside the matki, and injures her own hand in the process.
Though nervous about the handi being too high, Mangal gathers courage when Kapil encourages her, assuring her that she can do it. Pretending weakness, Monisha claims she has low BP and asks Adit to carry the handi. Unaware of her scheme, Adit hands it over to the Pehla Swad workers. They quickly form a human pyramid as Mangal folds her hands in prayer, seeking strength. She climbs to the top and successfully breaks the handi. But suddenly, dahi water and something sharp fall on her, causing her to lose balance and slip. Her hand starts bleeding as Kapil and Adit rush to her side in panic. Monisha, meanwhile, feels triumphant, believing her plan has succeeded.
Thankfully, Mangal escapes with just an injured hand. She explains that she slipped because of flower petals inside the handi. Monisha is left shocked, wondering how the glass shards disappeared. Kapil admits he had filled the handi with petals after the original one broke, unintentionally foiling Monisha’s plot. Furious, Monisha blames Adit for being careless. Pratima suggests calling a doctor, but Mangal insists she is fine and agrees to prepare for the upcoming pooja.
Kapil asks the pandit to begin the rituals on time. Monisha taunts that it’s good Mangal’s face wasn’t hurt, but Kapil calmly replies that he cherishes Mangal’s inner beauty more than her appearance, and nothing can change his love for her. Monisha burns with jealousy, watching Kapil’s affection for Mangal.
During pooja preparations, Mangal notices that Shanti has hurt her foot on scattered glass pieces. Concerned, she wonders who could have spread them. A Pehla Swad worker suggests they may have come from the first matki. Soon after, Mangal notices blood stains nearby, realizing someone else must have been injured too. Later, Akshat shows her photos from the event, where she spots someone tampering with the handi. Though the face isn’t clear, Mangal understands that the act was deliberate and someone had tried to harm her.
