The episode opens with Rukmini Devi instructing Katha to prepare all the offerings for the Janmashtami puja on her own. The responsibility feels overwhelming, as Katha knows how much time and effort the preparations demand. Anxious and unsure of how she will manage, she silently struggles. Seeing her sister’s distress, Naina reassures her and promises to secretly help in the kitchen, easing some of Katha’s burden.
Elsewhere, Udayveer is shown in a moment of deep vulnerability. He reflects on his longing for his mother and imagines how lovingly he would have cared for her if she were still with him. His pain underscores the emptiness her absence has left in his life. Meanwhile, Sheetal calls Katha to ask if she can contribute something to the celebration. Rather than declining, Katha requests her to prepare a special dessert for the occasion.
At the same time, Tejas hatches a sinister plan. Determined to ruin Katha and Uday’s reputation, he plots to poison the food meant for the puja. His malicious intentions cast a looming shadow over the festivities. The next morning, however, brings a pleasant surprise—Katha succeeds in arranging all the ingredients for the puja. Her hard work amazes the family, earning her blessings from the elders. Yet, a few spiteful members criticize her efforts, dismissing the decorations as unnecessarily lavish.
Unaware that Katha was behind the arrangements, Uday openly admires the decorations, praising the beauty of the setup. Just then, delivery staff arrive with the prasad for the Jindal house. Among them is a masked figure—Tejas in disguise—but Katha fails to recognize him.
The Janmashtami celebrations begin with joy and enthusiasm. Uday, for a while, forgets his grief and dances happily with his cousins. Eshwar, however, notices the pain hidden behind Uday’s smile. He knows how deeply Uday misses his mother and bitterly curses the woman who abandoned her son without compassion. Amid the festivities, Sheetal arrives at the Jindal residence at Katha’s invitation. Uday immediately senses something unusual, as though an important presence has entered his world. He watches Katha speak with Sheetal but fails to recognize his own mother.
When Sheetal begins feeling unwell, Katha escorts her to a room to rest. Curious, Eshwar expresses a desire to meet the guest, but a sudden phone call interrupts him. Meanwhile, Katha offers Sheetal food and refreshments. Strangely, Sheetal feels a deep sense of familiarity with the house, as if she has been there before.
Soon after, media reporters arrive at the Jindal home to interview Uday. They ask about his personal life, particularly about his partner. Uday, however, chooses not to reveal Katha’s identity. Even when reporters notice Katha nearby and press him for an answer, he deliberately avoids acknowledging her, keeping her importance hidden.
