The episode begins with Ishani questioning why Pihu is so obsessed with Anurag and expects his love when his heart belongs to someone else. She tells Pihu this isn’t love but madness, which will only bring her pain. Pihu argues that Ishani doesn’t understand such madness because she has never loved anyone so deeply, and insists that no one can change her feelings for Anurag.
The next day, Shashwat calls Anurag and demands to meet him. Anurag mocks him for calling, but Shashwat insists the meeting is important and even tied to Ishani’s future. He threatens Anurag, saying if he refuses to meet, Ishani will suffer beatings at his hands. When Anurag asks if Ishani knows about this, Shashwat replies she doesn’t, and must never find out. He warns that if Anurag reveals anything, he will throw Ishani out of the house, but never divorce her—so she will be trapped in misery forever.
Anurag says it doesn’t matter, as there is nothing between him and Ishani like Shashwat imagines. He assumes Shashwat wants to talk about the defamation case. Shashwat admits he isn’t afraid of Rajdeep and can hire several lawyers, but also concedes his case is weak and Anurag might win. He then slyly adds that if he ends up hospitalized after eating food made by Ishani, it will become an attempted murder case—something far more serious.
Anurag tells him he has never seen such a dangerous man. Shashwat replies coldly that everything is fair in love and war. When Anurag asks what he wants, Shashwat demands a meeting. Anurag reluctantly agrees, and Shashwat warns him not to tell even Pihu.
Anurag thinks to himself that he doesn’t want Ishani to face problems because of him. Shashwat taunts him, saying that’s exactly why he suspects there’s more between them. Anurag firmly states that his relationship with Ishani is nothing beyond professor and student before hanging up. He wonders what Shashwat is plotting now.
Shashwat then informs Nandini that Anurag has agreed to meet. He asks if she will come with him, and she says she won’t leave him alone. Shashwat declares it’s time to end the matter and promises he will force Anurag to agree to his terms.
Later, when Anurag meets Shashwat, he asks why he was called. Shashwat says they should settle things cordially and avoid dragging the case to court. Anurag reminds him that Shashwat himself was taken to the police station. Nandini interrupts, asking Anurag to forget the past, and invites him to Yash’s wedding. Suspicious, Anurag asks why they’ve suddenly changed their attitude. Shashwat replies that he has noticed Ishani and Anurag care for each other, and he wants to see Ishani’s reaction when she meets Anurag at the wedding.
Anurag asks why Shashwat is acting so childishly, saying Ishani would never admit her feelings even if she had them. Shashwat says he will handle that and proposes ending the case, warning that if Anurag refuses, Ishani will pay the price. Anurag calls him a devil. Shashwat declares he cannot tolerate betrayal, but if convinced that Anurag and Ishani share nothing more than a teacher-student bond, he might even allow her to continue her college studies.
