The episode opens with Tejas questioning Katha about her relationship with UV, leaving her stunned. He harshly criticizes her for having what he calls a “namesake relationship” with UV and demands to know UV’s whereabouts. Katha firmly warns him not to drag UV into the matter, calling UV a far better human being than him. She defends UV, saying he has never disrespected a woman and is the best son, friend, and brother. Tejas taunts her, asking if UV is also a good husband, and mocks her by recalling UV’s earlier public statement about their relationship.
Unbeknownst to them, UV and his cousins overhear the entire conversation. Pratty appreciates Katha for standing up for UV in his absence. Tejas then ridicules Katha, asking where her husband is. Katha stays silent, but UV suddenly intervenes, shouting that he is right there. Katha is shocked, while Tejas is taken aback. UV confronts Tejas, reminding him of their previous encounter and declaring he will define his relationship with Katha himself. Tejas insists he has only come to take his wife Naina back, but when he tries to approach her, UV warns him of the consequences, referencing his past behavior. Defeated, Tejas leaves but vows to return for Naina.
Afterwards, Naina questions UV and his cousins about their presence. They make up excuses, and she leaves with the cousins. UV, however, stops Katha and takes her aside, where the two share a lighthearted moment. Tejas secretly watches them, determined to drive them apart.
Meanwhile, Chandrika expresses her unease to Eshwar and the family about Naina staying in their house. Rukmini argues in Naina’s favor, but Chandrika scolds her. Chandrika then reveals that UV has been providing financial help to Katha’s family. While she lashes out at Katha, Eshwar defends both UV and Katha. He explains that making Katha UV’s wife was meant to guide UV into becoming more responsible. Chandrika, however, harshly accuses Katha of eventually bringing her entire family into their home. Just then, Katha enters and assures Chandrika that she would never do anything to harm the family’s dignity.
Katha then requests Eshwar’s permission to work so she can repay UV’s help. Eshwar refuses, offering his support instead, but Katha insists she wants to return UV’s favor with her own earnings. Ambika questions her, and Katha explains that a man has offered her work. Chandrika once again criticizes her for breaking family traditions, but Katha pleads with Eshwar to allow her, reminding him of his earlier promise. Moved, Eshwar agrees but makes her promise that she will never jeopardize the family’s reputation. Katha gives her word. Ambika is disheartened, while Chandrika warns Eshwar that he is repeating the same mistake. Still, Eshwar puts his trust in Katha. Overjoyed, Katha glances at UV, who smiles and nods in encouragement. Later, she tells UV about Jay’s offer and expresses her hope to repay him soon.
Later, Katha connects with Gayatri over a video call, praising her sweets and the handwriting in her letter. Gayatri promises to send her sweets again. As Katha goes to get a phone charger, Gayatri’s letter gets caught in her saree, causing her to stumble into UV’s room while he is sleeping. Awakened by the noise, UV notices his mother’s handwritten letter and becomes emotional. Overwhelmed, he rushes out calling for everyone, leaving Katha puzzled. Meanwhile, she sees Pari sneaking out with a flimsy excuse. Concerned, Katha goes to UV and is troubled by his emotional state.
