The episode opens with Aditi questioning Parashar about why he expected Rishi to come to the village and take care of Jhanak. When Parashar asks who she is, Aditi confidently introduces herself as Rishi’s future wife. But Rishi immediately clarifies that he never accepted the forced marriage with Jhanak and does not consider her his wife. Kanka then asks him why Jhanak was living in his house.
Rishi explains that Jhanak stayed at his house only as a maid, and it was the villagers who forcefully sent her with him. He declares that Aditi is his fiancée and he will marry her once Dadabhai is discharged from the hospital. Parashar, however, reminds him that Jhanak’s marriage with him already took place, and whether he accepts it or not doesn’t change the fact. Rishi defends himself, saying he married Jhanak only to save his life, blaming the villagers for the entire situation. He insists that no matter what, he will marry Aditi.
At this point, Putul tries to stop him, but Rishi argues that he is only telling the truth. He recalls his suffering in Simulboni and reminds Nutan that he had already revealed he was engaged. He pleads with Parashar to understand how much pain the forced marriage caused him, even putting his job at risk. Though he admits he is thankful to Jhanak for saving Dadabhai’s life, he says he can never accept her because he truly loves Aditi. He urges Parashar to take Jhanak back to Simulboni.
Just then, Dadabhai steps in and taunts Rishi. He declares that it doesn’t matter whether Rishi accepts Jhanak or not, because he himself has accepted her as his daughter. He firmly states that Jhanak will live with them in their house, and if Rishi has a problem, he can find another place to stay. Rishi and Aditi are stunned by this. Furious, Rishi tells Dadabhai to be happy with his new daughter and storms out with Aditi.
Meanwhile, the senior officer instructs the police officer to summon Jhanak for Rishi’s inquiry. He remarks that the only way Rishi can save his job is by acknowledging Jhanak as his wife.
The next day, the doctor advises Dadabhai to follow a strict diet. Rishi mentions that Aniruddh has sent a car for their comfortable return home. Abhimanyu asks about the meeting, but Rishi replies that he will attend tomorrow. Aditi adds that she already spoke with Aniruddh for support. When Dadabhai questions them, Rishi says they will explain later at home. Just then, a police officer calls Jhanak, asking her to come the next day to give her statement regarding Rishi’s case.
Later, when Dadabhai inquires about Jhanak, the family tries to stop him from discussing her. But Dadabhai insists that Jhanak is his responsibility. Aditi complains that he will never forget Jhanak, and Dadabhai agrees—adding that Jhanak has a truly pure heart. Rishi, however, blames her for the inquiry he now has to face.
On the other hand, Jhanak arrives at a temple seeking shelter. With the priest’s permission, she stays there and prays earnestly for Rishi’s job and his happiness. Tearfully, she vows to continue fulfilling her duties as his wife, no matter what.
