The episode begins with Padma revealing to Ved that the sindoor used in his marriage with Kali was fake, meaning the Sindoor Daan ritual never actually took place. She further adds that Aarti also knows this truth. Shocked, Ved asks why Aarti never told him. Padma explains that Aarti didn’t want to destroy his marriage with Kali because of her. Before hanging up, Padma warns Ved not to disclose to anyone that she was the one who told him.
Overjoyed, Ved thanks Lord Ganesh for this revelation and rushes to meet Aarti. Sonal notices him leaving and asks where he is going, but Ved ignores her. When Kali questions Sonal, she replies that she doesn’t know. Sonal later sees Ved taking out his car and informs the family. Kali immediately guesses he must be going to meet Aarti. The Rajvanshi family quickly follows him.
Meanwhile, Aarti and Pankaj are celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi in Anjali’s neighborhood, where Aarti performs a devotional dance in front of Lord Ganesh.
Ved arrives at the celebration and suddenly applies sindoor on Aarti’s forehead. He confesses his love for her, declaring that he sees only her as his true wife. Aarti, shocked and furious, slaps him for such an act before Lord Ganesh. She scolds him for disrespecting the deity, but Ved insists that he loves her and claims his marriage with Kali was fake. Just then, Kali and the Rajvanshi family arrive and witness everything. Ved then takes sindoor from Lord Ganesh’s feet and attempts to apply it to Aarti again.
Kali intervenes, reminding Ved that he is already married to her and, as long as she is alive, he cannot wed another woman. Ved counters that their marriage is false, just like the sindoor used during it. Kali then accuses Aarti of plotting the entire scheme, leaving Aarti stunned.
Kali sternly warns Ved that if he tries to marry Aarti, she will have him arrested for abducting her and attempting to sell her. She also threatens to get Uday, Pratap, and Sonal arrested. Sonal protests, reminding Kali that it was they who brought her there, but Kali silences her.
Finally, Kali seizes Ved’s hand filled with sindoor and makes him apply it to her hairline. She declares that this sindoor is true and sacred, as it came from Lord Ganesh’s feet. Ved looks helplessly at Aarti, while Aarti turns her face away.
