Parag tells Prarthana, “I always believed Vasundhara’s son would never bow his head before anyone. But today, in front of your father, he became weak. He lost… and you won. Your love has won.”
Overwhelmed, Prarthana thanks Parag, saying, “You can’t imagine the happiness you’ve given me today.”
Parag replies, “I am the father of the bride. All the wedding responsibilities were mine, yet the Shahs carried them. You fulfilled every duty of mine. Thank you. Ansh, always take care of my daughter.”
Parag then gives Prarthana the pendant she had lost long ago. She lights up with joy. Turning to the Shahs, Parag admits that he always visited them with arrogance, but today he stands before them only as Prarthana’s father. With deep regret, he confesses his mistake of getting her married to Gautam.
Watching this, Preet tells Bharti she doesn’t understand Parag. Bharti replies, “Everyone has two sides.”
Parag reflects with guilt:
“I thought I had raised Prarthana like a princess, believing he too would treat her like a queen. But no parent ever wishes to see their child suffer for their own mistakes. The truth is, no one can predict what a girl will face in her married life. When we send our daughters away, we do so with only one hope—that everything will be good for them. But that hope was broken. My daughter’s wrong marriage collapsed.”
Anupama softly says, “That was fate’s mistake.”
Parag continues, “But even as I watched it unfold, I did not have the courage to stand against that wrong relationship. That is my mistake.”
With a heavy heart, Parag admits that his business deal with Gautam cost Prarthana her happiness. He thanks the Shahs for standing by her and says she is fortunate to have Anupama, Ansh, and the Shah family. He assures his daughter that he will always be there for her.
Anupama adds, “At a daughter’s farewell, parents should always assure her of their presence, so her pain eases.” Prem feels proud of Parag, while both Prarthana and Prem call him the best father.
Parag then asks Anupama to take Prarthana with her. Prarthana and Ansh bow down to take his blessings. As Parag says goodbye, he breaks down in tears. Anupama notices and comforts him, reminding him that everyone has the right to cry, and he should let his heart out. She consoles him by saying that Prarthana is her daughter too.
Anupama praises Parag as a good father, appreciating the values he has instilled in Prarthana. She reassures him that even Vasundhara and Khyati will calm down in time. With confidence, she promises Parag that everything will eventually be fine.
