The episode begins with Adit getting frightened by a toy cockroach. Sudesh tries to calm him, reassuring him it’s only a toy and reminding him that they are his parents. Adit admits his fear of cockroaches, but once Akshat playfully brings the toy closer, Adit relaxes and starts playing with him. Meanwhile, Sowmya calls the doctor to check on Adit.
As Adit happily plays with Akshat, the doctor arrives. Sowmya immediately blames Mangal, claiming her herbal massage (jadi-buti potli) caused Adit’s strange behavior, even though it brought him back to consciousness. The doctor corrects her, saying Mangal’s treatment actually helped Adit recover, but due to shock, he now has the mental state of an eight-year-old. He advises the family to keep Adit happy and assures them he will recover soon. When the nurse prepares to give an injection, Akshat stops her. Sowmya scolds Adit and orders him to take it, but terrified, he hides behind Mangal. Mangal gently consoles him and asks the nurse to give it later. The nurse agrees and leaves, while Adit hugs Mangal, calling her good — much to Sowmya’s irritation.
Adit then innocently asks everyone’s names. Mangal introduces herself, Kusum, and Sudesh. When Kusum breaks down in tears, Adit asks why. Mangal explains that Kusum is his mother and Sudesh his father. Akshat and Ishana introduce themselves too, and Adit happily seeks Akshat’s permission to play with his toys. Kusum, Sudesh, and Mangal step away, leaving Sowmya frustrated as Adit mocks her childishly.
Later, Kusum prays to God, crying for her son. Mangal comforts her, assuring her that Adit will soon recover. Sowmya arrives, furious, accusing Mangal of deliberately stopping the nurse from giving the injection just to prolong her stay in the house. Mangal calmly explains that Adit shouldn’t be forced. But Sowmya asserts her authority as his wife, insisting she will make the decisions. She immediately calls the nurse back and demands the injection be given.
Elsewhere, Pratima longs for Kapil. She calls Mangal and accuses her of neglecting him. Mangal tries to explain she has already spoken to the lawyer, but Adit interrupts, preventing her from continuing. She ends the call and pretends the injection doesn’t hurt. Wanting to prove his strength, Adit finally agrees to take it. Sowmya looks on angrily. After sending Adit inside, Mangal firmly tells Sowmya that Adit must be handled like a child — with love, patience, and care.
