The episode begins with Uday placing wedding registry papers in front of Ved and asking him to sign them. Suspicious, Ved asks what the papers are. Uday brushes it off, saying he will explain later. In his intoxicated state, Ved signs the papers. Immediately after, everyone begins celebrating with dance and music.
Meanwhile, Aarti notices Ved unconscious and decides to leave. Padma calls her and asks if she met the person who claimed to have evidence. Aarti, in tears, replies that she didn’t—she was only called there to be humiliated. She ends the call and walks away, heartbroken.
Bhajan notices Aarti leaving but mutters that she cannot reach home so easily. Raghav then hands the signed papers to Kali. She thanks him and asks when he expects her to return the favor. He replies that Ved and Aarti will do her work. Kali explains the plan: Aarti will be attacked, Ved will rush to save her, and from that moment, a new story will begin.
Aarti wanders aimlessly through the streets while goons follow her. One of them calls Bhajan to confirm they are tailing her. Bhajan orders them not to harm her until he gives the signal. He then informs Kali that Aarti is under surveillance. Kali smirks, calling Aarti the first wife who is being used in such a way.
She goes to Ved and splashes water on his face to wake him. Ved, still drunk, mutters that he loves Aarti. Kali angrily scolds him and demands he say he loves her instead. Raghav intervenes, warning her to stay focused on the plan or else everything will collapse. He tells Bhajan to leave them and walks away.
Kali then lies to Ved, saying Aarti’s life is in danger and urges him to save her. Ved asks why she is sending him and where Aarti is. Manipulating him further, Kali asks Bhajan to send Ved to Aarti. Just then, Mehek approaches Kali, asking why she isn’t dancing and where Ved is going. Kali replies bitterly that her husband is leaving her—how could she possibly dance?
Elsewhere, Aarti is cornered by goons. One of them slaps her, making her fall. Surrounded, she demands to know who they are. They try to attack her, but Ved arrives in time and fights them off. When one goon points a gun at Aarti, Ved, still intoxicated, manages to knock him down, saving her. Together, Ved and Aarti fight off the remaining attackers.
In the heat of the moment, Ved tells Aarti he will protect her no matter what and confesses his love. Suddenly, a goon strikes Ved on the head, and he collapses unconscious. Aarti panics, worried for him.
Back at Kali’s place, she weeps, thinking Ved will not remember any of this due to his drunken state. She believes Aarti’s values will force her to care for him but keep him in another room. With this, her plan will succeed—Aarti’s dignity will be questioned, and she will win Ved back. In her mind, Ved belongs only to her.
Soon, Aarti calls Kali in distress, saying Ved is unconscious and unresponsive. Kali coldly tells her that Ved only cares for her, so Aarti should take him with her and not bring him back there. She cuts the call, satisfied, thinking her plan has reached its climax as Aarti will now take Ved home.
Aarti carries Ved home and lays him on the bed. Padma questions why she brought him back. The family criticizes her, and Ganesh sternly warns that if she tries to break Kali’s household, he will never forgive her. Tearfully, Aarti explains everything and pleads with them to trust her, swearing she has no intention of destroying anyone’s marriage. Ganesh demands she return Ved early the next day or risk Kali tarnishing their reputation. He storms off. Padma, however, reassures Aarti, saying she knows Aarti would never break another woman’s home.
Meanwhile, Kali refuses to eat, consumed by jealousy at the thought of her husband being with Aarti. Ved’s sister scolds her for acting insane. Kali admits that she deliberately sent Ved to Aarti to execute her plan, openly calling herself mad. Just then, Raghav arrives and hands her the papers.
