The episode begins with Vikrant questioning Dhairya about the message he sent him. Dhairya pretends to check his phone and apologizes, claiming it was a mistake. He lies that the message was meant for the SI but was accidentally sent to Vikrant. He then wishes him a happy birthday again and asks him to rest well. Deep inside, Dhairya feels guilty for hurting his younger brother and struggles with the thought of not being able to bring back their childhood bond. He finds some relief when he sees Mannat consoling Vikrant.
Later, Mannat helps the priest with the puja arrangements. Raveena mocks Neetu for letting Mannat handle family responsibilities, pointing out that she is doing it better than Neetu ever did. Hearing this, Neetu feels disappointed. The priest then asks Vikrant to sit for the puja. At that moment, Roni suggests that since he will soon marry Mannat, they should sit together and receive blessings as a couple. The priest looks toward Mallika, and she signals him.
Mannat and Vikrant sit together. The priest slyly replaces the ghee plate with corn dough, which is poured into the havan. Suddenly, the fire flares up, shocking everyone. Vikrant quickly ensures Mannat is safe. The priest falsely declares it a bad omen and insists this marriage should not happen, labeling Mannat as bad luck for Vikrant. Hurt by his words, Mannat stays silent, while Neetu agrees that she is not a good match for her son and asks Roni to consider the priest’s warning. However, Vikrant defends Mannat, ordering the priest to continue the puja and forcing Mannat to sit beside him. Mallika is pleased, believing she has successfully planted doubts about Mannat in everyone’s mind.
Later, the priest tells Neetu again that Mannat is a bad omen and convinces her to stop the marriage. Confused, Neetu decides to discuss it with Roni. Mannat is left disheartened, but Shruthi comforts her, asking her not to take Neetu’s words to heart and assuring her that Neetu will eventually accept her.
Meanwhile, Mallika secretly meets the priest, rewarding him with money for lying and warning him not to expose her. Dhairya overhears everything and realizes that something else is brewing behind everyone’s back. He decides to keep an eye on Mallika.
Neetu then tries to persuade Roni to stop the wedding and find a better partner for Vikrant. But Roni disagrees, saying Vikrant’s happiness matters most and he is content with Mannat. Vikrant excuses himself and leaves.
Meanwhile, Mallika hatches a deadly plan—she tampers with Vikrant’s car brakes, hoping an accident will force Neetu to call off the wedding. On the other hand, Mannat impresses Neetu by convincing her and Roni to attend a free health camp in Mezbani and praising Neetu’s bond with Vikrant on social media. Roni appreciates Mannat for winning Neetu’s heart.
However, tragedy strikes when Vikrant’s car meets with an accident.
