The episode begins with Ranvijay confessing to Mihir that he is unemployed and has nothing to offer Pari except his love. Noina praises his honesty, and even Mihir seems impressed. Mihir learns that Ranvijay initially refused to marry Pari because he didn’t have a stable job or sufficient finances. Moved by his sincerity, Noina offers him a job.
Tulsi suddenly intervenes, objecting to Pari and Ranvijay’s marriage. Everyone is shocked as she claims that the problem lies not with Pari but with Ranvijay, insisting that he isn’t who he appears to be. Tulsi declares that she will always stand for what is right, not what is wrong.
Mihir gets angry at Tulsi, arguing that even Noina, a friend, supports the match, while Tulsi refuses. Tulsi reminds Mihir that he did not raise Pari — she did. She asserts that she knows what is best for her.
Pari questions Tulsi, asking why she always creates obstacles in her life, but Tulsi stands firm, refusing to let the marriage happen. She explains that she cannot bear to see Pari make a wrong choice.
Mihir, frustrated, points out that Ranvijay came only because he was invited to discuss the marriage. In a shocking outburst, he accuses Tulsi of discriminating against Pari because she isn’t her biological daughter. His words leave everyone stunned.

Tulsi then confronts Ranvijay, asking whether it is true that he traps women for money and whether he has been to jail twice for the same reason. Ranvijay lies, denying all accusations and claiming he has never been jailed or harbored ill intentions toward any woman. Ritik steps in, confirming that Ranvijay has been to jail, but Ranvijay challenges him to provide proof.
After Ranvijay leaves, Pari breaks down. Ritik tries to console her, explaining that Ranvijay is not trustworthy, and no one truly hates her. Mihir then instructs Ritik to gather proof against Ranvijay.
Meanwhile, Tulsi observes the Karwa Chauth fast for Mihir, uncertain whether he is fasting for her in return.
Later, Mihir calls Noina regarding office work but forgets to wish her a happy birthday. Feeling hurt, Noina tells him that he will have to come to her in the evening.
