The episode begins with Tanya worrying about the event arrangements and praying to God for everything to go smoothly. Vidya inspects the decorations and appreciates how beautifully everything is set up. She then suggests that Abhira and Arman should be the ones to perform the puja. Tanya is taken aback by her statement. Kajal steps in and reminds everyone that Kaveri has already chosen Tanya and Krish for the ritual. This leads to a heated argument between Vidya and Kajal. Kajal insists that Tanya and Krish have every right to perform the puja, while Vidya argues that the tradition allows only the elder son and daughter-in-law of the family to do it. Kajal defends Tanya, saying it’s not her fault that Abhira and Arman are no longer together.
Kaveri then asks Abhira to get ready for the puja. She questions why Abhira tied her hair when Arman dislikes it. Abhira explains that her wavy hair is difficult to manage with the heavy lehenga. Kaveri advises her to make small compromises for the sake of her relationship, leaving Abhira puzzled.
Meanwhile, Kajal and Vidya’s argument continues. When Kaveri learns about their dispute, Kajal reminds her that she had already assigned the puja duties to Tanya and Krish. Tanya tries calling Krish, but he doesn’t answer. Vidya criticizes Krish for being irresponsible and insists that the puja must start on time. Hurt, Tanya says she wishes Vidya had ever shown real concern for Krish. Vidya retorts that Krish’s carelessness gives her no reason to worry. Eventually, Tanya steps back and allows Abhira and Arman to perform the ritual instead.
Abhira suggests that Kaveri let Vidya, Madhav, or another couple do the puja to avoid more tension. But Kaveri insists that Abhira and Arman should proceed, as the auspicious time is passing. Reluctantly, Abhira and Arman perform the puja together. Vidya exchanges glances with Kajal, clearly still upset. Madhav asks her why she’s unhappy despite the ritual being completed. Vidya recalls the past troubles caused by Krish, but Madhav advises her to let go and move forward.
After the puja, Kaveri instructs everyone to apply kajal for good luck. Arman playfully decides to apply kajal to Abhira and chases her around. Kaveri stops him, saying he should respect it if Abhira says no. Both Abhira and Arman are surprised by Kaveri’s sudden change in tone. They realize that although she appears softer, Kaveri still doubts the strength of their marriage and fears it might fall apart once again.
