The episode begins with Shashwat expressing that he is content with his life and wants to spend time focusing on himself and his family. Pihu suggests a family trip to Europe and invites Ishani to come along with Anurag. Shashwat questions why Anurag would go when he is about to get married, and Pihu insists they plan to stop the marriage. Ishani asks her not to start the topic again.
Suddenly, Shashwat collapses. Everyone rushes to his side. Siddarth examines him and declares it a heart attack. Pihu anxiously asks what happened, while Raj Didi calls for an ambulance. Shashwat holds Ishani’s hand and passes away. Siddarth confirms that Shashwat has died, leaving everyone devastated. Raj Didi pleads with him to open his eyes, unable to accept his departure.
The next day at the cremation ground, Shashwat’s last rites begin. Ishani supports Pihu as they approach the ceremony. The priest asks for Shashwat’s son to perform the rites. Pihu insists that Shashwat has no son and volunteers herself. Initially, the priest objects, saying women cannot perform the ritual, but Pihu is firm, and he reluctantly agrees.
Pihu performs Shashwat’s last rites, expressing her gratitude for his care despite his flaws. She prays for his peace, assures him that she will make him proud, and breaks down in tears. Siddarth comforts her, while Raj Didi laments how she will live without Shashwat. Ishani consoles Raj Didi as Pihu lights the funeral pyre, with everyone mourning deeply.
Later, Pihu asks Ishani if she has forgiven Shashwat completely. Ishani explains that although she endured a lot because of him, she saw him change and could forgive him. She admits that she will miss him deeply. Pihu notes that Shashwat seemed at peace at the time of his death, and Ishani agrees, hoping his soul rests in peace. Pihu then gives Ishani a letter that Shashwat had written for her, a final message from him.
