The episode begins with Karan fighting Barkha’s henchmen to rescue Lakshmi, who is losing consciousness from the smoke. Using a wooden torch, Karan threatens the henchmen, forcing them to flee. He carries Lakshmi in his arms, safely removing her from the fire.
Karthik, ready to leave Karan’s house, opens the door and sees Karan holding unconscious Lakshmi. Alarmed, he asks what happened. Dadi feels relieved to see Lakshmi safe. Karan explains that Lakshmi needs rest and asks the family not to disturb them. He gently lays Lakshmi on the bed.
Dadi questions Karan about what happened, and Barkha demands to know where he found Lakshmi. Karan responds that it was fortunate he found her in time, as she could have been burnt. He narrates how he rescued Lakshmi from the goons and took her to Dr. Mathur, who revealed that she had snake poison in her system. The doctor successfully removed the poison, and Karan reassures Dadi not to worry. Dadi questions Barkha, who insists that Lakshmi must have encountered scammers after escaping. Karan says the truth will come out once Lakshmi wakes up. Dadi, Barkha, and Bhavani leave, and Karan asks Karthik to give them privacy so Lakshmi can rest.
The next day, Lakshmi wakes up to find the house beautifully decorated. Curious, she asks Dadi about the decorations, but Dadi says she doesn’t know. Karthik explains that it’s a surprise and wanted to give the good news himself. He feeds Lakshmi a laddoo and announces that he and Barkha are getting married today. Dadi points out that there is no auspicious date today, reminding him their wedding is next month.
Karthik insists that he wants Barkha as his life partner immediately, and Dadi agrees. He requests Lakshmi to perform a ritual in the Nigam family where the bride gets ready with her Bhabhi’s help. Lakshmi remains silent, and Karan agrees on her behalf. Karthik then leaves with Barkha.
Karan comforts Lakshmi, acknowledging how difficult this must be for her. Lakshmi responds that she has grown accustomed to pain and leaves.
Meanwhile, Karthik retrieves a bridal Lehanga from a servant. It is Lakshmi’s own bridal Lehanga from their wedding day. He presents it to Lakshmi, who is shocked to see it. Karthik remarks that this is a reminder of the Mangalsutra he gave her. Lakshmi brings the Mangalsutra and hands it over. Hurt and silent, she leaves, while Karthik reflects on the pain she has caused by leaving him and marrying someone else. He resolves to make her suffer by showing how he will now belong to another woman, not her.
