The episode begins with Jhanak reflecting on Rishi’s actions, believing he only loves Aditi and not her. She wonders why Rishi lied to her and thinks that if she had any other option, she wouldn’t have come here. She decides that in the future, she will help Aditi as a favor. Rishi arrives, offering her the food he brought. Jhanak questions his gesture, asking why he feels the need to show her sympathy. Rishi looks confused.
Jhanak explains that she is staying in the house only because of a favor from Aditi and insists she has no rights over the house or its members. Rishi assures her that he never lied and urges her to focus on her studies and become a doctor. He refuses to reveal how he convinced Aditi. Concerned about being seen together, Jhanak tells him to leave with the food.
Meanwhile, Mishti warns Aditi that Rishi has gone to Jhanak’s room, calling Jhanak cunning and implying Rishi might be in danger. Aditi asks Mishti not to speak ill of Jhanak, and Mishti questions when Aditi began changing her attitude.
Rishi insists the food is specially prepared for her, but Jhanak protests that everyone eats at the dining table. She asks why the plate is decorated and what kind of food it is. Rishi tells her today is special and wishes her a happy six-month anniversary. Shocked, Jhanak grows emotional, staring at him. She reminds him that he has a wife to take care of and questions whether he truly thinks she would be happy with this gesture.
Rishi asks why she is insulting him. Jhanak says his actions are an insult and asks what he is trying to prove, declaring that marriage holds no meaning for them. She scolds him for his behavior. Rishi questions whether the marriage holds no significance for her and urges her to set aside her anger and eat.
Aditi enters the room, and Jhanak explains that Rishi brought the food for her. Rishi adds that she needs to eat well to study properly. Aditi compliments the plate’s decoration, while Jhanak explains she doesn’t usually eat fancy food, so Rishi prepared it to encourage her. She also mentions that Rishi advised her to groom herself. Aditi calls Jhanak cunning and says Rishi wants her to improve because others mock her eating habits. She urges Jhanak to eat and reminds Rishi that since Jhanak calls her sister, he is technically her brother-in-law. Aditi suggests going shopping for matching outfits and asks Jhanak if she wants anything; Jhanak declines, saying she has enough clothes. Aditi and Rishi leave, leaving Jhanak wondering why Rishi thinks so poorly of her.
Later, Dadabhai emerges after getting ready and asks about the fuss. Abhimanyu explains that it is a special day for Dadabhai. Tanushri encourages him to prepare properly, but Dadabhai questions whether such celebrations are appropriate at his age. He finds it odd that Indumati went to the parlor and asks what else is planned. Surjeet explains that first Dadabhai’s haldi ceremony will occur, followed by Indumati’s.
Hearing the food menu, Dadabhai becomes excited and asks when he can eat. Neelu tells him to wait, and Payal adds that he must wait for Indumati. Abhimanyu mentions that the family would have been complete if Ridhiman had returned, but Dadabhai interrupts, asking them not to speak of him. Feeling he has forgotten about his son, he goes inside.
Elsewhere, Arshi learns that Choton has applied to cancel her bail. She scolds her lawyer’s assistant, unsure how to proceed. Aniruddh asks why she is shouting, and after hearing the situation, assures her he will handle Choton.
Mishti goes to college and tells her friends that Aditi brought Jhanak to their house for household work, implying she can’t attend college. Ayush hears this and decides to talk to Jhanak, but Mishti and her friends tease him. Ayush tries calling Jhanak, but she doesn’t answer.
Later, Aniruddh tells Arshi that Choton won’t withdraw the case. Arshi laments that his family never supports her, only Nutan, and blames this for her mother’s death. Aniruddh counters that Srishti is responsible, but Arshi insists Nutan is not Srishti’s daughter. She questions if he won’t fight to prove Jhanak isn’t his daughter. Aniruddh refuses to discuss it now and instructs her not to communicate with Bablu or Anjana until the matter is resolved. He leaves, and Arshi regrets bringing him to Kashmir, recalling past moments.
Meanwhile, Aditi gives Rishi a kurta and tells him to get ready. She intercepts his phone call, reminding him there’s no work today. As Rishi prepares, he feels happy to have Aditi back. She acknowledges that he loves only her. Rishi, however, recalls moments with Jhanak and realizes he cannot love two people, yet remains uncertain about his own feelings.
