The episode begins with Lakshmi looking up at the clouds, tears filling her eyes. Karan approaches and gently places a hand on her shoulder. Lakshmi quickly wipes her tears. Karan tells her not to hold back her emotions, saying that if he stops her from crying, he would be an even bigger sinner than Barkha. He blames himself, saying that if he hadn’t brought Lakshmi into his life, her life wouldn’t have been shattered this way. Lakshmi thanks Karan for supporting her after discovering the truth about Barkha and helping her get justice for Karthik. Karan then asks her to come with him.
Karan takes Lakshmi to the garden, where he has arranged Karthik’s photo surrounded by flowers. He tells Lakshmi that he wants her to stay connected to Karthik for as long as she needs. Lakshmi holds Karthik’s photo close and becomes emotional.
Dadi arrives and tells Karan that none of this would have happened if he hadn’t forcefully brought Lakshmi into his life. She questions his decisions and asks him to promise that he will never leave Lakshmi. Karan vows that he will always stay by Lakshmi’s side and bring back the happiness she has lost. As he walks away, Bhavani secretly watches.
Later, Manny tries to lift Karan’s mood. Lakshmi approaches and says she needs to talk to him. Manny excuses himself and leaves.
Lakshmi tells Karan that she wants to leave the house and start her life over. She says she plans to go that very evening. Karan asks why she can’t begin her new life here. Lakshmi explains that she lost Karthik in this place and can no longer stay. Karan tells her she is free to go if that’s what she wants, and he won’t stop her. He walks away.
Frustrated, Karan vents his anger on a punching bag. Manny urges him to stop taking out his emotions on it and instead express his true feelings to Lakshmi to keep her from leaving. Karan insists he has no feelings for her and dismisses the idea. Bhavani overhears their conversation and thinks Lakshmi cannot be allowed to leave after “ruining” the family.
Bhavani tells Vyom that Lakshmi is leaving because of the situation Barkha created. Vyom asks what she wants him to do. Bhavani orders him to teach Lakshmi a lesson she won’t forget.
Meanwhile, Lakshmi brings food for the servant and tells him she will be leaving the house today.
Vyom, wearing a hoodie and mask, attacks Lakshmi using chloroform and locks her inside a car trunk. The servant sees Vyom and attempts to stop him.
As Karan is about to leave the house, Bhavani deliberately distracts him. Meanwhile, Vyom knocks out the servant, steals the car, and drives away.
Karan later finds the servant unconscious and revives him with water. From him, Karan learns that Lakshmi has been abducted. He immediately rushes out to search for her.
At the same time, Bhavani looks at the unconscious Lakshmi and orders her goons to entomb her inside a wall so that she suffocates slowly and dies.
