The episode opens with Krishna, who has recently married Khushi, firmly declaring that he will protect her at all costs. Despite his reassurance, Khushi remains completely shattered by the tragic loss of her father, Rajkumar. Consumed by grief, she moves closer to his body, unable to accept the painful reality. Soon, Rajkumar’s body is taken toward the cremation ground. Left behind and devastated, Khushi breaks down and runs after the funeral procession, desperate to be near her father one last time.
As the cremation rituals begin, Khushi faces another cruel blow. Mamta heartlessly throws her belongings out of the house, determined to throw her out permanently. Khushi pleads with her stepmother, begging her not to abandon her at such a vulnerable moment, but Mamta remains unmoved. Instead, she mocks Khushi’s marriage to Krishna and slams the doors of the house shut, making it clear that Khushi no longer has a place there.
With no shelter and no support, Khushi gathers her scattered belongings and leaves the locality, unsure of where she is headed. Krishna tries to stop her and insists on taking her with him, but Khushi pushes him away. In her grief and anger, she holds Krishna responsible for all her suffering, believing that he was behind the viral video and the cause of every crisis in her life. Feeling betrayed, Khushi refuses his help and decides to cut all ties with him.
At that moment, a car suddenly stops in front of them. Baldev and Nandita step out, accompanied by Dimpy. Dimpy immediately runs to Khushi and hugs her tightly, showering her with affection. Krishna is stunned and confused, unable to understand how his mother, Dimpy, has arrived with Baldev and Nandita. Nandita then embraces Krishna as well, deepening his confusion.
Baldev reveals a long-hidden truth—he is Dimpy’s father. To prove it, he shows Krishna a childhood photograph of Dimpy. The revelation leaves Krishna shocked. Overwhelmed with emotion, he realizes that Baldev and Nandita are his grandparents. He breaks down and embraces them, while Khushi watches in disbelief at the sudden turn of events.
Baldev expresses his wish to take Krishna and Dimpy home with him, but Krishna refuses to leave Khushi alone in her broken state. He explains everything Khushi has suffered since being thrown out of the Mehra house. However, Nandita remains firm and clearly states that she does not accept Khushi as Krishna’s wife. Adding to the tension, Khushi herself rejects Krishna as her husband, saying that she cannot imagine him in that role even in her worst nightmares.
Amid the chaos, Dimpy clings tightly to Khushi’s hand and refuses to let go. She believes that together they will find her lost son, Kishu. When Khushi tries to explain that Baldev and Nandita are Dimpy’s real parents, Dimpy refuses to believe her and repeatedly hugs Khushi, terrified that she might abandon her.
With folded hands, Baldev finally pleads with Khushi to stay in the Mehra house for a few days. He expresses his hope that Khushi will eventually be accepted as Krishna’s wife, despite Nandita’s strong opposition. In the end, both Baldev and Krishna make it clear that they will not go anywhere unless Khushi agrees to stay with them.
