The episode begins with Ritik telling Tulsi not to talk to him. Tulsi, sensing his distress, acknowledges that she knows he’s upset with her. She tells him that she is aware of his marriage and admits she never imagined this would happen. She asks Ritik to share his feelings with her, but he questions why she wants to know. Tulsi reminds him that she is his mother, to which Ritik coldly replies that if she were truly a mother, she would have known everything. He accuses her of abandoning everyone and tells her that, despite his attempts to stop her, she never considered his feelings. Tulsi, struggling to explain, says she can’t put it into words. Ritik, though, says he understands her pain and that’s why he didn’t want to burden her. He reveals that six years ago, everything in his life fell apart, and he was left completely alone. Ritik shares his sacrifices, and how, despite everything, he now feels like a failure. He talks about his failed attempt to establish a plant and how he wasn’t given the necessary permissions. He met a successful collector, yet still feels like a loser. Ritik expresses how Mitali calls him a failure, and even though his mother always gave him strength, she, too, left him. He tells Tulsi that he is shattered, and she tries to console him, but Ritik coldly tells her to leave. Tulsi pleads with him and cries, but Ritik walks away.
Meanwhile, Ranvijay tells Subhash that he’s putting in immense effort to take over the Virani group, but it’s proving to be extremely difficult. Tulsi overhears the conversation and decides to share this with Ritik, but when she heads to the kitchen, she finds him completely broken and in despair. Ritik, overwhelmed by the taunts, picks up a knife in his hand and cuts his wrists, feeling as though he’s reached his breaking point. As he faints, Tulsi rushes in and is horrified to find Ritik lying on the floor, bleeding. She quickly calls for help and rushes him to the hospital. Tulsi thanks the chef for helping her bring Ritik there, and the nurse gives her a form to sign.
The doctor informs Tulsi that Ritik has lost a lot of blood but is now out of danger, though he will need counselling. Tulsi calls Vaishnavi to inform her of Ritik’s condition, and Vaishnavi expresses her gratitude for what Tulsi has done, urging her to keep others informed. Vaishnavi calls Parth to update him, and Parth in turn informs Mihir.
Mihir arrives at the hospital, instructing everyone to contact him as soon as possible. He learns from the doctor that Ritik’s condition is stable, thanks to Tulsi bringing him in at the right moment. Mihir is grateful to Tulsi and goes to speak with her. When he does, Tulsi questions him angrily about what he has done to Ritik. She accuses Mihir of using her son for business purposes and scolds him for orchestrating Ritik’s marriage to Mitali. She expresses how much Ritik has changed over the past six years, and Mihir acknowledges his mistakes but Tulsi refuses to listen.
Mihir continues to apologize for his faults and asks Tulsi why she abandoned Ritik. He challenges her, asking why she didn’t try to find him, and why she never told anyone about his betrayal. Tulsi firmly tells him that he needs to answer to his children first before he can try to answer his wife. At that moment, Gayatri accidentally bumps into Tulsi, and Sobha arrives to meet her. Gayatri, feeling guilty, begs Tulsi for forgiveness and holds her feet in remorse. Tulsi, however, tells Gayatri that she doesn’t need to apologize to her, but instead should always offer her blessings. Sobha, overcome with emotion, cries and hugs Tulsi tightly.
