The episode begins with Malti meeting Rakshit. Rakshit tells her that her wish has finally come true, as Aparajita has resigned not only from her job but also ended their friendship. Malti scolds him for not stopping Aparajita. Rakshit replies that Aparajita sees him as the problem, while he believes he is the solution.
Malti calls him a fool for letting Aparajita walk away so easily. Rakshit asks what happened to respecting her consent. Malti points out that he did not even make an effort to stop her. Rakshit says the women of the Sharma family are always confused. He adds that Malti cannot force Aparajita into anything.
Malti explains that everything she is doing is for Aparajita’s well-being. She says she knows Rakshit would never compromise Aparajita’s dignity or self-respect. She urges him not to give up on her and asks him to stop Aparajita. Unsure whether to believe what he is hearing, Rakshit playfully pinches Malti to check if she is real.
Malti jokes that Ramgopal spent two years flirting with her, and the result is standing right in front of Rakshit. Rakshit admits that he loves Aparajita, but she does not love him. Malti says Aparajita is only afraid of love. She clarifies that she is not asking him to force his feelings on Aparajita, but simply to stay by her side. According to Malti, once Aparajita overcomes her fears, she will realize that she loves Rakshit too.
Rakshit wonders how that is possible when Aparajita has already resigned. Malti confidently says she has a plan and shakes hands with him. Just then, Aparajita arrives and asks what they are discussing. Malti quickly leaves with her.
Elsewhere, Sheela tells Ira that Sudha is angry with Rakshit and hates Aparajita. She says this is the perfect opportunity for Ira to prove that she managed the family well while Rakshit was in jail.
Meanwhile, Pramila tells Malti that since Aparajita got divorced, Aradhya might also start thinking the same way. She adds that she had believed Aparajita was a good girl. Aradhya remembers Vivaan confessing his love to her and immediately defends Aparajita. She tells Pramila not to speak about her like that and calls off her engagement.
Rohan tells Aradhya that he loves her and says they can live separately after marriage if needed. However, Aradhya replies that marriage is not just between two people but between two families. Malti asks Aradhya to apologize to Pramila, but she refuses. Aradhya then ends her relationship with Rohan and walks away. Secretly, she dreams about Vivaan buying her a diamond ring.
Pramila taunts Malti, saying one daughter ended her marriage while the other has now broken her engagement. She leaves with Rohan.
Aradhya imagines becoming rich and feels delighted. Moments later, she pretends to cry when she sees Aparajita. Hugging her, she says she can no longer bear the insults directed at her family.
The next day, Aparajita tells Malti that she will speak to both Pramila and Urmila. She also confirms that she has resigned from her job. When Malti asks about her future plans, Aparajita says she now wants to fulfill her and Ramgopal’s dream by taking charge of Avinash’s saree business.
Elsewhere, Dubey briefs Rakshit about his scheduled meetings. At the same time, Rakshit receives a message from Malti. He decides to find a way to bring Aparajita back to the office.
