The episode begins with Aparajita asking Malti to stop interfering in her life without her permission. She says nothing will ever be fine if others keep making decisions for her and requests Malti to respect her choices.
Just then, Avinash arrives looking upset. Malti asks what happened, but he says there is no point talking because no one values him in the house. Aparajita asks if he met Rashmi. Malti questions him about Urmila’s reaction, and Avinash replies that Urmila was right before walking away.
Meanwhile, Aradhya returns home angry. She says Rohan doesn’t deserve a second chance and accuses her family of only wanting to get her married and send her away. She storms inside, and Aparajita follows her.
Malti breaks down, saying she only wanted what was best for her children, but everyone misunderstood her. Ramgopal reminds her that he had already warned her Aparajita would never accept such interference. He says their children are grown up and capable of making their own decisions. He asks Malti to trust their upbringing and let them choose their own path.
Elsewhere, Rakshit and Vivaan return home. Sudha complains that she had to perform the puja alone because both her sons were missing and ignored her calls. Rakshit admits that he had gone to Aparajita’s house.
He reveals that he had kept a fast to win Aparajita’s love, but instead he lost her forever. He says Aparajita has ended their friendship and even decided not to return to the office. Sudha feels relieved that Aparajita is out of Rakshit’s life.
Rakshit is hurt by her reaction. He asks why she is happy when he is in so much pain. He reminds her that she once shared his happiness and sorrow, but now she refuses to understand him. He leaves in tears.
Meanwhile, Chandrabaga spots Rohan and quietly decides to take revenge. She tells him that people forget old chocolates once new ones appear in the market before walking away.
Later, Malti visits Rashmi’s house and learns that Urmila slapped her. Furious, she confronts Urmila and says Rashmi is also like her daughter. She scolds Urmila for raising her hand on Rashmi.
Urmila replies that a daughter-in-law can never become a daughter. Malti says she doesn’t care about society’s rules and warns Urmila never to hurt Rashmi again before leaving. Ramgopal apologizes to Urmila on Malti’s behalf, while Rashmi quietly smiles.
Aparajita later reflects on how Rakshit had once made her believe she was not incomplete. She feels sad that he broke her trust after giving her hope.
At the same time, Rakshit regrets his actions. He blames himself for hurting Aparajita and losing her friendship.
The next day, Aparajita tells Rashmi that she doesn’t know how to face Urmila. Rashmi says there is no need and defends Rakshit. She explains that he never forced Aparajita into anything.
When Aparajita recalls her painful past, Rashmi tells her that Lalit was never meant for her, but Rakshit is. She says Aparajita has changed, so perhaps her destiny can change too.
