The episode begins with Rakshit teasing Aparajita for handing her phone to Malti. Aparajita admits that she is still scared of Sudha because Sudha had once thrown her out of the house. She assures Rakshit that they will definitely attend the puja, but asks him not to expect anything beyond that.
Meanwhile, Sudha orders two rings. Mohit overhears the conversation and quietly leaves. Arvind asks Sudha who the rings are for. She replies that they are meant for Rakshit and his future wife, adding that Rakshit’s happiness is her biggest priority. Arvind is delighted to hear this.
Mohit immediately informs Rakshit that Sudha has ordered two rings because she is planning his engagement with Aparajita.
Elsewhere, Vivaan tells Aradhya that they will meet the next day. Aradhya learns that Vivaan is searching for his watch and tells him he accidentally left it at her house, so she kept it safely. However, she unknowingly drops the watch into a fruit basket.
Later, Bua finds the watch, mistakes it for Avinash’s, and decides to keep it in his room.
Meanwhile, Sheela questions Sudha for inviting Aparajita’s family home. Sudha calmly replies that Rakshit’s happiness means everything to her. Sheela taunts Sudha before walking away.
Rakshit asks Sudha to cancel the engagement plan, but Sudha refuses. She tells him she will do whatever she thinks is right and ends the conversation.
Aparajita wonders why Sudha has suddenly changed her behaviour. She feels confused and admits she has no idea what Sudha is planning.
Arvind praises Sudha for thinking about Rakshit’s happiness. Rakshit, however, feels more confused than ever. He wonders how Aparajita will react, believing that nothing can happen without her consent.
Rakshit tries to call Aparajita to tell her about the engagement, but she does not answer because she has already fallen asleep.
Elsewhere, Rashmi tells Avinash that she knows Aparajita is planning to leave the house. She scolds him for letting her go. Avinash replies that Rashmi does not know the complete truth. Rashmi says she will also leave if Aparajita leaves. Avinash jokingly reminds her that she has to come home first before leaving, making Rashmi agree.
Later, Rakshit calls Malti and tells her that Sudha is planning his engagement with Aparajita the next day. He admits he is worried about Aparajita’s reaction.
Malti confidently tells him that Aparajita will not refuse because she softened after seeing Rakshit’s tears, proving that she loves him. She says the elders will handle everything.
Rakshit says he still wants to speak with Aparajita first. However, Malti reminds him that the engagement is Sudha’s surprise and asks him not to reveal anything. She tells him to trust Mahadev before ending the call.
Afterward, Malti shares the engagement news with Urmila.
The next day, Malti compliments Aparajita on her appearance. Aparajita says it is only a puja, but she is wearing a heavy saree because Malti insisted.
Meanwhile, Aradhya starts searching for Vivaan’s missing watch.
Elsewhere, Urmila informs the neighbourhood women about Rakshit and Aparajita’s engagement. Malti reminds everyone that it is Sudha’s surprise and asks them to pretend they know nothing about it.
The women say Aparajita is very lucky. Hearing this, a confused Aparajita asks them what they are talking about.
