Pretending to break down emotionally, Mitali deliberately speaks loudly so Akshay can overhear her.
She claims she was once in a relationship with Karthik and accuses him of betraying her. She says Karthik has now trapped Vrinda and will eventually deceive her too.
Mitali adds that after Vrinda moved on from Angad, Karthik made her his next target.
Dev informs her that Karthik and Vrinda have already left, but Mitali continues her dramatic act.
Akshay does not believe her, but someone else overhears everything—AV.
Worried that Vrinda might suffer another heartbreak, AV silently decides to protect her.
