Today’s episode begins with Vasundhara asking Leela to stop spinning. She says Leela is only making things more complicated.
Vasundhara asks Leela to untangle the tie instead. They eventually free themselves and return to the counter.
Sikander compares their situation to life’s knots, saying they can be solved with simple understanding. Manpreet and Roy agree with him.
Sikander reminds everyone that people have also come to watch the dishes. The host then announces that it is time to steal ingredients.
Prerna volunteers from their team, while Prem also decides to get an ingredient. Prerna steals salt from Vasundhara’s tray, while Prem takes gram flour.
Leela panics and wonders how she will prepare the dish without besan. Anupama asks her to give her some time to think.
She notices chana dal and decides to make flour from it. Meanwhile, Prerna is happy that she managed to steal salt from Vasundhara’s counter.
Vasundhara’s team worries about cooking without salt. Anupama decides to return the stolen salt.
Prem refuses to take it back. Pakhi and Paritosh become irritated by Anupama’s generosity.
Prem says Vasundhara can manage without salt and asks Rahi to find a solution. Rahi suggests using melted butter to create a salty flavour.
Prem asks Anupama to take the salt back. Vasundhara insists that she cannot prepare the dish without it.
Anupama leaves the salt at the counter. Hasmuk says Prerna was wrong to steal the salt because it is an essential ingredient.
Meanwhile, Vasundhara and Leela start fighting again while cooking. Anupama asks Leela to focus on the dish and help their team win.
Vasundhara throws coriander leaves at Leela. Leela happily thanks her, saying she needed coriander for the chutney.
Prem asks Vasundhara to concentrate on cooking. Leela then tries to ruin Vasundhara’s dish, but Anupama stops her.
Mahi worries that Vasundhara is losing focus and they could lose the task. Rahi asks Mahi to stop talking for the moment.
Rahi notices Anupama preventing Leela from ruining the dish and becomes impressed with her.
The host asks Leela and Vasundhara to bring their dishes. Sikander says that despite their constant fights, there is also love between them.
Leela and Vasundhara immediately deny that they love each other.
Manpreet asks Anupama why she returned the stolen salt to Prem’s team. Anupama explains that salt is essential and there is no rule saying a stolen ingredient cannot be returned.
She then gives a lecture about the importance of salt.
Shruti says Anupama is behaving exactly like herself. She accuses Anupama of trying to win by giving lectures and impressing everyone.
Shruti adds that Anupama’s emotional speech will surely help her win.
Anupama worries whether Prem actually used the salt in his dish. The judges then announce their verdict.
Manpreet praises Leela’s dish, calling it spicy but delicious. She says Vasundhara’s dish is equally good.
Anupama feels impressed when she learns that Prem has used the salt.
Leela gets angry with Anupama for returning it and says they could have used that opportunity to win. She jokes that Anupama’s greatness will give her a heart attack.
Sikander then asks Prem why he didn’t use the salt.
Anupama is shocked by his answer. Prem says he doesn’t accept anyone’s favour. He admits he liked Anupama’s lecture about salt but refuses to take its salty flavour.
Sikander explains that this is exactly why Prem’s dish was not liked. Prem thought melted butter could replace salt, but as Anupama said, there is no substitute for salt.
Anupama and Leela win the task, leaving Prem’s team disappointed.
Vasundhara feels guilty that Prem lost because of her. Prem assures her that she did nothing wrong.
Anupama tries to comfort Vasundhara, but Prem stops her. He says they don’t need Anupama’s lecture because he can handle Vasundhara himself.
Prem then tells Anupama to console her own team because they will need her after losing the finale.
Anupama fires back that Prem is losing because of his anger, arrogance, and ego. She warns that he is losing tasks and could even lose the grand finale.
The host agrees that Prem is falling far behind and may not be able to recover in the finale.
Prerna adds that Prem is already too far behind in the ratings.
Anupama remains confident and says a true friend remains a friend, while overconfidence becomes an enemy.
Vasundhara, however, remains determined and says Prem must win at any cost.
