The episode begins with Seher asking Mahid to agree to their engagement. Mahid hesitates, but after Seher accidentally hurts her hand, he gently tends to her wound. Rasheeda happens to see them together and apologises for interrupting their private moment.
Seher once again asks Mahid to give her an answer. Mahid finally agrees, although he complains that Seher left him with no other option. Seher becomes extremely happy after hearing his acceptance.
Meanwhile, Haider tries to contact Husna but remains confused about the engagement arrangements. A servant asks him to choose the decorations, and Haider reveals that Seher is now the owner of the house and everyone must follow her instructions.
Insha questions Haider about the situation. She finds it suspicious that Husna supposedly dislikes the engagement but has already printed the invitations. Haider admits that he also cannot understand what his mother is planning.
Insha remains convinced that something is wrong. She tells Haider that she noticed Mahid clenching his fist when Seher held his hand, something he usually does when he is angry. Haider teases her about understanding Mahid so well.
Insha becomes jealous when Haider praises Seher’s ability to calm Mahid. She insists that she has no romantic feelings for Mahid and is only concerned about Kaiz because Mahid is his only support.
Later, Mahid is busy checking the marshal accounts when he notices discrepancies. Seher comes to dress his wound and sends the guests away. She then learns that Mahid was the one who beat Khalid the previous day.
Seher apologises to Mahid for taking her anger out on him. She admits that whenever she is hurt, she ends up hurting him without thinking about the pain he is already carrying. She also confesses that she still cannot escape her painful past, which is why destiny brought her back to Lucknow.
Seher then tells Mahid that she wants to visit her mother’s grave. Mahid immediately becomes uncomfortable because the place reminds him of his own guilt and painful past.
When Seher asks him to accompany her, Mahid initially refuses. He is frightened of confronting the memories he has been trying to avoid. Seher tells him that she can go alone, but she wants his support because his presence would make the visit easier for her.
Remembering Farid’s advice, Seher believes Mahid needs to confront his past instead of remaining trapped in guilt. She wants to help him understand that he should not continue punishing himself.
After struggling with his emotions, Mahid finally agrees to accompany Seher.
Meanwhile, Sanaya praises Amal’s work but demands ₹1 lakh in exchange for introducing her work to a publisher. Amal leaves confused, while Husna asks Sanaya whether Amal will fall into their trap. Sanaya confidently assures her that everything will work according to their plan.
Later, Seher reaches Kausar’s grave and places her mother’s favourite flowers there. Mahid asks her why she is silent and reminds her that perhaps her mother is waiting to hear her thoughts.
Seher becomes emotional and says that although she has fulfilled her mother’s wish, Kaiser is not there to hug her or congratulate her. She shares her pain with Mahid.
Mahid comforts her and tells her that Kausar’s soul is always with her and will continue to bless her.
Overwhelmed with emotion, Seher hugs Mahid and cries, while Mahid silently shares her grief. The emotional moment brings them closer, even as Mahid continues to struggle with the painful truth of his past.
