Seher Hone Ko Hai Today Episode 18 August 2026

The episode begins with Seher crying as she remembers her mother, Kausar. Mahid hugs her and tries to comfort her. He tells Seher that Kausar is watching her from heaven and would be happy to see her doing well.

Seher decides that she wants to help Mahid heal from his guilt. She reminds him that Kausar once advised her to fight for life and always find a reason to smile. She tells Mahid that they should not stop smiling and asks him to share his memories of Kausar with her.

Mahid reveals that Kausar had once asked him to send Seher back to her. She believed Seher would face many problems at the Niyazi mansion. Mahid regrets not sending Seher back to Kausar and says that at least Seher would have been alive and smiling with her mother today.

Seher decides to motivate Mahid and help him overcome his guilt.

Seher Shares a Funny Memory

Seher recalls an incident when thieves entered their house. Although everyone was frightened, she had the courage to face them.

She tells Mahid that she informed the thieves that there was nothing valuable in their house to steal. She even offered to cook food for them and decided to make aloo paratha.

However, Seher jokingly reveals that she forgot to add the aloo!

Her story makes Mahid laugh. She then says that the thieves started crying because her story reminded them of their own mothers and their cooking.

Mahid laughs and tells Seher that she probably made up the entire story. Seher becomes emotional and says she would never lie while taking her mother’s name. She touches the sand near Kausar’s grave and becomes overwhelmed with emotions.

Someone asks Mahid to comfort a young boy who has lost his father. Seher encourages Mahid to go to him, and he leaves her alone.

Amal Struggles to Ask for Money

Meanwhile, Amal worries about arranging money for her deposit. She meets Farid and Sultana and informs them that she has been selected.

Farid congratulates her, but Sultana immediately asks whether Amal has come only to share the news or whether she needs something from them.

Amal remains silent.

Farid becomes upset with Sultana for speaking to Amal that way. Sultana explains that she knows Amal very well and can understand from her expression that she needs money.

She says Amal is going through a difficult phase and that they should help her because she has helped Amal financially before.

Amal later regrets her behaviour.

Mahid Supports a Grieving Boy

Mahid notices some relatives pressuring a young boy to accept his father’s death. They tell him that he should stop crying and take responsibility for his mother and siblings.

Mahid strongly objects.

He pushes the boy and tells him that he has every right to cry for his father’s death. He encourages him to accept reality gradually and become someone who can bring happiness to his family.

Everyone praises Mahid for understanding the boy’s emotions and supporting him instead of forcing him to hide his grief.

Later, Mahid returns to Seher and comforts her.

Seher promises that she will smile because that is what her mother wanted. She then asks Mahid if he can become one of the reasons behind her happiness.

Mahid promises to give her more reasons to smile.

Seher thanks him.

Husna Makes a New Plan

Meanwhile, Husna asks her husband to remind her of the trick they had discussed to fulfil their plan. She has forgotten it.

He refuses to tell her.

Husna says she will not return to the village with him until Mahid’s engagement is over. She wants to stay and pray for Mahid’s engagement.

Her husband has actually forgotten the trick himself, but he makes up a random idea to keep Husna happy.

Husna then reveals her intention to ruin Mahid’s engagement by using Amal.

Seher Misses Her Mother

Later, Mahid and Seher become stuck in traffic.

Mahid tries to keep Seher positive and motivates her to stay strong. However, Seher continues to miss her mother deeply.

Despite her pain, Mahid’s support gives her the strength to keep moving forward.
