The episode begins with Vikrant arguing with Dhairya. Mannat immediately fears that their plan could be exposed, so she pretends to defend Dhairya in front of Vikrant. She signals Vikrant to control his anger before Dhairya becomes suspicious.
Mannat scolds Vikrant for accusing Dhairya and asks him to leave. Vikrant understands her signal and walks away.
Dhairya then pretends to be innocent. He tells Mannat that he does not understand why the Rajvansh family keeps targeting him. He claims that he never tried to harm his brother and even points out that Vikrant has been supporting his family.
Mannat struggles to control her anger while listening to his lies. She pretends to trust him, which makes Dhairya happy.
Mannat then suggests cancelling the party so that the children do not have to face any unpleasant situation. Dhairya refuses because Dua has arranged the special celebration for him. He wants to enjoy the occasion with everyone and asks Mannat to give him five minutes to freshen up.
After leaving, Dhairya becomes suspicious. He wonders whether someone is determined to expose him. He thinks about Vikrant’s behaviour and questions whether Vikrant is only pretending to have lost his memory.
Dhairya fears that if Vikrant has actually regained his memories, he could send him to jail.
Meanwhile, Dua becomes worried about Dhairya and wants to check on him. Yashika stops her. Dua explains that she is worried because her Baba is not feeling well.
Yashika indirectly tries to make Dua understand that Dhairya does not deserve her love. She reminds Dua that Mannat chose Vikrant and suggests that Vikrant is the better person. She asks Dua to focus more on her father.
Dua says that she loves her Papa, but Dhairya is also her Baba and a good person. She explains that Vikrant is special to her while Dhairya is her good friend.
Dhairya arrives and Dua tells him that she has prepared a speech for him. He thanks her and suggests that she invite Vikrant to the celebration as well.
Dua invites Vikrant to listen to her speech. Vikrant becomes emotional when he sees his daughter.
However, when he notices Dhairya’s shadow nearby, he immediately controls his emotions and pretends to scold Dua. He refuses to acknowledge her as his daughter.
Dua begins crying.
Vikrant tells her that he does not like seeing children cry and therefore agrees to attend the party.
Dua then delivers her speech about her Papa and expresses her love for him. Her words indirectly reveal her feelings for Vikrant, leaving him deeply emotional.
Mannat signals Vikrant to remain in control.
Dhairya becomes suspicious and wonders whether Dua is actually talking about him or Vikrant. Dua continues speaking with Vikrant about their past, making the situation even more emotional.
Vikrant continues pretending that he does not accept Dua as his daughter. Mannat then pretends to scold him for hurting Dua and follows him to speak privately.
Dua assumes that her parents are arguing because of her.
Once they are alone, Mannat scolds Vikrant for losing control and becoming emotional. She warns him that Dua is extremely intelligent and may realise that he has regained his memories.
Vikrant finally admits that Dua is his daughter. He says that he cannot continue pretending to hate his own child. He explains that hurting Dua just to protect their plan against Dhairya is becoming unbearable for him.
Mannat asks Vikrant to control his emotions because Dhairya must not become suspicious. She reminds him that they are currently one step ahead of Dhairya and cannot afford to make a mistake.
Vikrant says that Dhairya is extremely dangerous and will never admit his crime.
Mannat then suggests taking Vishaka’s help. She reminds Vikrant that Vishaka is the only eyewitness who can potentially help them expose Dhairya.
Vikrant agrees but warns Mannat to be extremely careful.
Just then, Mannat notices that Dua is nearby. She immediately changes her behaviour and pretends to argue with Vikrant.
Mannat demands that Vikrant apologise to Dua for hurting her feelings.
Vikrant then apologises to Dua, successfully maintaining their cover while secretly working with Mannat to bring Dhairya’s truth to light.
