The episode begins with Roop reminding Anup that he has transferred the house into his own name and therefore has every right to stay there.
Jeet becomes furious after hearing this and struggles to control his anger. Anup lashes out at Roop and calls him an idiot for transferring the house into his name just to show respect to him.
Roop hits back and calls Anup foolish for trusting him without investigating his real intentions.
Anup firmly tells Roop that Soumya has never lied to him and that he completely trusts his daughter.
Roop finally admits that Soumya is telling the truth but argues that the incident she revealed happened many years ago.
He blames Soumya for not coming to him with her problems and instead telling Jeet. Roop claims that Jeet took advantage of the situation.
Roop then accuses Jeet of burning down their house. He also claims that girls from the current generation take such steps only to gain sympathy.
Soumya refuses to remain silent. She firmly tells everyone that she has not lied and that everything she has revealed is the truth.
Roop says that the best solution is for Soumya to apologize so that the family can reunite.
He tries to touch Soumya, but Krish, Anup and Jeet immediately stop him. The entire family stands firmly beside Soumya.
Jeet struggles to control his anger as Anup warns Roop to stay away from his daughter.
