The grand environment makes them feel increasingly conscious of their own limited knowledge and background. As they notice the other parents speaking confidently, both Sachin and Sayali begin feeling insecure.
Despite their nervousness, they gather courage and enter the interview. They try their best to introduce themselves confidently and keep their answers short and clear.
Unfortunately, the interview does not go as they expected.
After assessing them, the school administration informs Sachin and Sayali that Pankhudi cannot be admitted. The school follows certain policies and eligibility criteria that the couple does not fulfil.
The rejection leaves Sachin and Sayali deeply disappointed. Pankhudi is even more heartbroken because her dream of studying at the prestigious school suddenly comes to an end.
The situation becomes more frustrating when a security guard tells Sachin and Sayali that they should first train and prepare themselves according to the standards expected by the school if they want their daughter to get admission.
Sachin finds the suggestion completely absurd. He becomes irritated by what he considers a meaningless and unfair system.
Despite the disappointment, the family returns home and tries to console Pankhudi.
Sachin and Sayali assure her that Mumbai has many good schools. They promise that they will find another school where Pankhudi can study happily and build her future.
Meanwhile, another development is taking place in the Deshmukh household.
Following Tejas’s advice, Kanika has started making a conscious effort to change her behaviour. She is learning how to behave according to her age and is trying to bring more maturity into her personality.
Kanika is extremely happy to have Tejas as her private tutor. She listens carefully to his advice and sincerely tries to follow everything he teaches her.
Devika notices the positive changes in Kanika, both mentally and physically. She is impressed by the influence Tejas is having on her daughter.
Seeing this transformation, Devika begins hoping that Tejas may be able to take care of Kanika in the future when she is no longer around.
However, despite these hopes, Devika still has certain fears and doubts about Tejas.
Back at home, Renuka creates another dramatic situation by pretending that she has forgotten everything.
She also claims that she accidentally consumed a high-dose medicine.
However, the entire situation is part of a plan created by Renuka and Roshni. Their intention is to keep Sachin and Sayali occupied in the same room.
While the couple remains busy dealing with Renuka’s supposed condition, Roshni quietly takes advantage of the opportunity.
She checks their laptop and examines Pankhudi’s birth certificate.
What she discovers leaves Roshni shocked.
Roshni realises that Sachin and Sayali have deliberately been hiding important information about Pankhudi’s birthplace from the rest of the family.
The discovery immediately raises serious suspicions in Roshni’s mind.
Now, Roshni becomes determined to uncover the truth behind Pankhudi’s birth and find out exactly what Sachin and Sayali have been hiding.
