The episode begins with Sheela scolding Aradhya for openly showing off her nightdress. She questions whether they have forgotten all their morals.
Sudha then asks everyone to begin the haldi ritual. Malti agrees with her, and everyone starts applying haldi to Aradhya one by one.
Meanwhile, Rakshit goes inside and finds Aparajita alone in her room. He asks what she is doing there by herself.
Aparajita pulls Rakshit inside and locks the door from within. Rakshit immediately tells her that her intentions do not seem good.
Aparajita makes him sit down. Rakshit notices the haldi and asks about it.
Aparajita tells him that their haldi ritual will also take place today. She then applies haldi to Rakshit.
She lovingly rubs her cheeks against his cheeks and explains that the groom’s leftover haldi is traditionally applied to the bride.
Rakshit agrees with her and repeats the phrase about being cheek to cheek.
He then tries to apply haldi to Aparajita’s feet, but she asks him not to touch them.
Rakshit tells her that people also touch the feet of those whom they deeply respect. He says that he respected Aparajita even before he fell in love with her.
He adds that losing to her and loving her is his good fortune.
Rakshit applies haldi to her feet and then shows her a picture of Lord Krishna applying Mahawar to Radha.
He says that even the Lord knows that men are incomplete without women. He lovingly tells Aparajita that she is his Lakshmi and that she has filled his life with happiness.
Aparajita becomes emotional after hearing his heartfelt words.
Rakshit tells her that she is his strength. He says that if he ever becomes weak, he knows that Aparajita will always stand by him.
Aparajita admits that she had always hoped to find someone who would love and respect her. However, she never imagined that life would give her so much happiness.

Later, Malti tells Sudha that the haldi ceremony was really enjoyable.
Sudha says that haldi has practically turned into Holi. She then says that she is waiting for Mohit and Arvind because they are bringing the Shagun ka joda.
Meanwhile, Aparajita tells Rakshit that she cannot accept the bangles at the moment.
Rakshit tells her that he has already spoken to the priest about their marriage. He asks her to reach there before time.
Aparajita lovingly kisses him on the cheek.
Mohit and Arvind overhear the moment and become happy.
They then bring the Shagun ka joda and give it to Sudha. Sudha hands it over to Malti.
