The episode opens with Savi privately informing the teacher that Rajat—Sai’s father—has passed away. She explains that Neil participated in the event only for Sai, and believes they don’t truly deserve the award. The teacher reveals she already knew and shares that she hasn’t seen Sai smile so brightly since Rajat’s death.
Later, Sai thanks Neil for his support, and Savi quietly observes their interaction. The teacher then invites Savi to receive the award. Savi and Neil accept the trophy alongside Sai. Sai asks the photographer to click a photo on her phone and hands it to Neil. The trio poses for a picture. Sai excitedly shows the trophy to Nishi and playfully teases her.
Nishi’s parents congratulate Neil, mistaking him for Sai’s father. He tries to correct them, but they leave abruptly after receiving a phone call. Watching Sai and Savi together, Neil is taken aback—he never imagined Sai was Savi’s daughter. Savi silently resolves to keep Neil away from Sai.
Later, Sai again expresses her gratitude to Neil, crediting him for her win. Neil assures her she can call him whenever she needs help. Sai agrees and suggests they celebrate with ice cream. Savi interrupts, claiming her throat hurts. Neil jokes that she can skip eating, but they’ll still enjoy ice cream with Vedaan. Savi quickly insists they need to leave because Dadi is unwell and sends Sai to collect her things.
Alone with Neil, Savi sternly warns him to stay away from Sai. Neil defends himself, saying his bond with Sai is genuine and that it’s unfair to separate them. Savi accuses him of using Sai to keep tabs on her. Neil denies it, but Savi warns that this will be the last time he sees Sai. Just then, Sai returns and hugs Neil. Savi forcefully separates them and walks away with Sai, who throws a flying kiss toward Neil. Afterward, Savi blocks Neil’s number from Sai’s phone and leaves. Neil, determined, silently vows not to let Savi come between him and Sai.
On the way home, their cab driver mentions a route change. Sai immediately recognizes the voice—it’s Maruti. Sensing danger, Savi quickly puts earphones on Sai and distracts her by pointing out an ice cream parlor. Then, Savi grabs Maruti by the neck and furiously demands how he dared to come to her daughter’s school. He pleads for mercy and promises not to return. Before leaving, he threatens her to pay the next installment within four days if she wants Ridhi to remain safe.
Savi and Sai get out of the cab and board an auto. Sai notices Savi’s somber mood and asks why she’s upset. Savi brushes it off, saying the cab driver was rude. Sai cheerfully says she’ll call “Pookie Uncle” (Neil) to teach him a lesson. Savi grows uncomfortable seeing how attached Sai is becoming to Neil.
Meanwhile, Neil is delighted that he could bring a smile to Sai’s face. He considers sending her their photo and resolves to protect their bond. He calls Sai’s number but finds it unreachable. He then texts, saying he misses her. At that moment, Yash arrives and hands him Ridhi’s phone number.
Back at home, Sai and Savi are shocked by something they witness.
Elsewhere, Neil receives a parcel at his door. He opens it while Savi consults a doctor regarding Bhagyashree’s health. Bhagyashree expresses her wish to see Ridhi, just to be sure she’s safe. Meanwhile, at Maruti’s place, Ridhi refuses to eat, and Maruti tries to coax her.
Yash asks Neil about the envelope. Neil hands it over, and Yash announces that it contains Teju’s university results—she’s topped the class. Manjari laments that Teju missed the celebration. Bhushan and Leena react with indifference. Neil comments that no one in the family appreciates Teju’s success. Vinod reassures Neil, saying they support him and will celebrate however he likes. But Neil declines and walks away. Manjari hopes he finds someone with whom he can share both his pain and happiness.
The doctor tells Savi that Bhagyashree’s condition is caused by emotional stress and that easing her worries might improve her health. Savi promises to find a way to help.
