The episode opens with Gaurav speaking to an unconscious Padma, informing her that Raghav has been granted bail. When the nurse asks him to leave the room, he refuses, stating he’ll step out of the room but not the hospital. He declares that he will stand guard at the door to ensure not even a fly gets in.
Just then, Anjali arrives at Padma’s room and asks Gaurav about her condition. Gaurav replies that Padma is stable for now, though he’s uncertain how long that will last. He informs her that someone tried to kill Padma. The doctor tells Anjali that Padma survived only because of Gaurav’s timely intervention.
Anjali asks Gaurav who was assigned to protect Padma. Spotting the police constable, she angrily confronts him for failing in his duty.
She then turns to the doctor and inquires about CCTV footage. The doctor explains that there is corridor footage, but due to the crowd, the suspect’s identity isn’t clear. Anjali confidently says she can identify the culprit through observation alone, reminding them that she is a criminal lawyer.
Pankaj then enters the room. Anjali confronts him, pointing out that he had accused Raghav of attempting to kill Padma, yet today someone else tried to finish the job. She questions who might be behind it. Pankaj says he will handle the investigation. Anjali challenges him, sarcastically asking under which new legal section he plans to frame Raghav now. Pankaj asks if she’s trying to insult him. Anjali calmly responds that she’s simply stating her view and accuses him of wrongly implicating Raghav in the attempted murder. Pankaj insists she has no right to insult him and claims he’s an eyewitness to the crime.
Gaurav steps in to diffuse the tension, urging them to stop arguing. He suggests that someone may be intentionally sowing discord between them. He reminds Anjali that solving the case is more important and she’ll need the help of an honest officer like Pankaj. However, Pankaj refuses to cooperate. When Anjali asks if he won’t support her, Pankaj replies that his allegiance is only to the law. Anjali counters that her loyalty lies with the innocent, who is being wrongly imprisoned. Pankaj says that if she manages to defeat him, he’ll accept that she’s better. Anjali accepts the challenge and walks away.
Meanwhile, the Rajput family prays for Raghav’s return, unaware that he has already been released on bail. Gaurav, Anjali, and Aman return home, where Sadhika immediately asks Anjali about Raghav’s whereabouts.
