The episode begins with Katha informing UV that although she was the reason he was released from custody, it doesn’t mean he can reopen his café. She strongly asserts that she opposes the café’s reopening because it’s located within the college premises, and she will never allow it. UV grows furious and tells Katha to shut up. Katha remains firm and reiterates her objection. UV mocks his cousins for relying on Katha, then tries to argue with her again, but the inspector steps in and warns him. His cousins and friends quickly apologize to the inspector and persuade UV to leave. As they walk away, UV threatens Katha, saying he won’t spare her. Katha is stunned by his words.
Later, UV returns home with his cousins. As they arrive, Eshwar stops him at the door. Rukhmani questions this, and a servant brings an aarti plate, which Eshwar uses to perform UV’s aarti while throwing sarcastic remarks at his mother. UV gets annoyed, and Rukhmani scolds Eshwar for his behavior. UV reminds Eshwar of his unfulfilled promise to bring his mother home and walks inside. Rukhmani asks her grandchildren about UV, and they explain what happened at the police station, including how UV is now barred from reopening his café. Rukhmani is heartbroken, while Eshwar suppresses his emotions and remarks that UV’s attitude keeps dragging him into trouble.
Meanwhile, at Mohan’s house, he grows worried about Katha’s delay in returning home. When she finally arrives, she lies to him. Mohan senses something is wrong and urges her to tell the truth. Katha internally struggles, knowing she’s never lied before, but decides to keep quiet for Mohan’s sake. She reassures him and heads inside.
Suddenly, Mangla arrives at their home with a group of people, furious over the incident that occurred at the college. She begins insulting Katha in front of everyone. Mohan and Vandana are confused by Mangla’s accusations. Mangla calls out Katha and publicly reminds her of the humiliation she faced. Katha remains silent. Naina steps in to defend her sister, questioning why Mangla never visited when Katha was excelling in her studies. Mangla shuts her down and claims both sisters are alike. She warns Mohan and Vandana that their daughters will continue bringing shame to the family. Vandana tries to stand up to her, but Mangla taunts them again before storming out.
After Mangla leaves, Mohan and Vandana question Katha. Naina again steps in, urging her parents to believe in Katha. She explains that Katha isn’t like her and hasn’t done anything wrong. She also reminds them that Katha usually confides only in her diary and asks them not to pressurize her to open up.
Back at the Jindal house, UV’s cousins create chaos in the kitchen while trying to bake a cake for him. Rukhmani joins them, enjoying the moment, while Ambika quietly excuses herself. Meanwhile, UV speaks to Mr. Agarwal, requesting a meeting with the college board members. He then finds himself missing his mother. Just then, his detective calls with an update: UV’s mother, Sheetal, is alive and living in an old-age home. UV is eager to meet her, but the detective advises waiting until the next day. UV agrees, becoming emotional at the thought of reuniting with his mother.
