The episode opens with Anjali confronting Pankaj, accusing him of failing in his duty. She firmly reminds him that she hates losing and declares, “I won’t leave any stone unturned in Padma’s case. Come to the hospital immediately.”
Meanwhile, Nurse Ratna tells Anjali that she has no knowledge of the incident. Anjali refuses to believe her and says, “You know everything. How could you do this?” Ratna, clearly distressed, swears on her parents and her job, insisting she’s innocent. She explains, “I gave the tray to her before entering, as she said sir was calling me. But sir wasn’t even in the cabin.” Anjali begins to suspect Nurse Antara instead.
Pankaj is then seen scolding a constable for his negligence, saying, “Because of you, Anjali questioned my integrity.” Anjali arrives and immediately rebukes Pankaj. Turning to Constable Vidhyut, she declares, “I’ll file a complaint in court—you failed in your duty.” Though Vidhyut claims he had gone to the washroom, Anjali accuses him of lying.
She then demands that Pankaj record Ratna’s statement in her presence. Pankaj resists, saying, “I’m the investigating officer. Let me do my job—don’t interfere.” But Anjali is adamant. “Chandrabhan has attempted to murder Padma more than once. I won’t take chances. Everything will happen in front of me—otherwise, more women could suffer like Padma. Take her statement now. Also, question Vidhyut and file a chargesheet against him too.”
Meanwhile, Raghav confronts Antara and questions why she lied to Ratna and took the medicine tray. Antara denies taking anything. Pankaj instructs the constable to record both nurses’ statements. Anjali objects, demanding to know why Pankaj is accepting their statements without cross-checking. She insists Antara is lying. Pankaj responds that he is filing a chargesheet against Ratna and that the court will decide who is guilty. Anjali protests, stating Ratna is innocent and Antara is the real culprit. She requests permission to interrogate Antara herself, but Pankaj denies it.
Anjali challenges Pankaj, saying, “Your father, Constable Parimal Purohit, always taught you to stand by the truth. So why are you supporting a lie now by filing a false chargesheet?” She asks if someone is blackmailing or pressuring him. Moved, Pankaj appears emotional and says he’ll tell her the truth. But just then, Vidhyut arrives to take the nurses’ statements. Pankaj falls silent and walks away without revealing anything. Ratna expresses her fear to Anjali, who comforts her, saying, “Don’t worry—I’m with you.”
Later, Aman calls Anjali to ask where she is and when she’ll be arriving, as both families are at his home for a celebration. He cheerfully says, “We’re waiting for you—come quickly, it’s party time!” Raghav then takes the phone and adds, “It’s not just a party—it’s a full-on desi-style bash. We’ll eat, celebrate, and we’ve even planned a surprise!” Hearing this, Anjali can’t help but smile.
