The episode begins with Shalini locking Mallika inside the bathroom. Mallika panics and shouts for help. Gagan, noticing Aishwarya nearby, quickly approaches and asks her about Mallika’s whereabouts. When she questions him in return, he lies and says Mallika isn’t in the room, cleverly shifting the focus by questioning Aishwarya’s recent activities to distract her. Irritated, Aishwarya argues with him. Gagan insists she find Mallika quickly as the puja has started. Aishwarya storms off to search for her, and Gagan secretly messages Mannat. He then signals Shalini, who quietly unlocks the bathroom door. Mallika finds it strange that the door opened on its own and begins searching for her phone. Gagan reflects that everything he’s doing is only to protect her from Aishwarya.
Meanwhile, Aishwarya fumes, vowing to punish whoever dared to kidnap her daughter. Just then, Mannat appears and renders her unconscious.
Later, Mannat receives a voice message from Vikrant. He speaks emotionally, confessing his love for her and admitting that his plan was foolish—it was all an attempt to get her to confess her feelings. He begs her to meet him at Mezbani and give him one last chance.
Elsewhere, Aishwarya regains consciousness and finds herself tied up at a seashore. In the dark, she sees a figure approaching. She demands to know who it is. Mannat steps forward and reveals herself. Aishwarya is stunned and questions her for the abduction. Mannat forces her to stand up and threatens her, saying that this is the same place her life began—and now, she plans to end it here.
Aishwarya is confused. Mannat reminds her that this is where her mother left her to die. She demands the truth—why did Aishwarya hire Sunita to pretend to be her mother? Why did she set fire to the colony? Why is she hiding the truth about Sonia Khanna? Aishwarya feigns ignorance, but Mannat calls her out for lying. She tells Aishwarya she knows everything and accuses her of orchestrating it all.
Mannat questions who her real mother is and accuses Aishwarya of paying Sunita to play the role. Aishwarya tries to maintain her lie, insisting that Sunita is her mother and she never told her to lie. But Mannat counters by revealing she discovered Sunita cannot physically be a mother due to a medical condition. Mannat regrets not checking Sunita’s medical history earlier but says the truth has a way of coming out—no matter how much someone tries to bury it.
She then tells Aishwarya that her real mother is in desperate need of a liver transplant and only has 24 hours left. She pleads with her to help. But Aishwarya remains cold and refuses. Mannat tells her she doesn’t care whether others believe her or not—not even Vikrant. She just wants to know the truth.
When Mannat threatens to push her into the sea, Aishwarya finally breaks. She admits the shocking truth: she is Mannat’s real mother—Sonika Khanna. Mannat is horrified and refuses to accept it. Aishwarya bitterly says she wishes it were a lie too. Mannat was the “thorn” in her life that forced her transformation from Sonika Khanna to Aishwarya Rai Singh. She declares that she has only one daughter—Mallika.
In tears, Mannat responds: she doesn’t need a mother like her either.
