The episode begins with Nandini watching Dil sing a song. Worried, Nandini gently asks Dil to promise that she won’t sing again, saying she doesn’t want to lose her. Dil promises that she’ll always stay by Nandini’s side. To lift the mood, Nandini closes Dil’s eyes and playfully counts from 1 to 10, then surprises her with a new dress. Dil is thrilled by the gift.
Elsewhere, Natasha approaches Raghav and asks him to pose beside Shanaya for some photos. Raghav refuses, throwing in a sarcastic comment about Natasha, which annoys her and causes her to storm off.
Meanwhile, Nandini is driving a truck with Dil and other children in the back. When Dil asks for ice cream, Nandini agrees and stops the vehicle to get some.
Back at Shanaya’s party, Natasha announces it’s time for cake-cutting. But Shanaya throws a tantrum after noticing the cake doesn’t have her photo on it. She refuses to cut it and demands a new one. Natasha and others try to pacify her, but she remains stubborn.
At Dil’s celebration, Nandini asks her to make a wish before cutting the cake. Dil wishes for a new father—someone who would care for her mother. Touched, Nandini helps her cut the cake, and Dil beams with joy, calling it the best cake ever.
Unbeknownst to them, Dil’s uncle shows Nandini’s photo to a group of goons, instructing them to kill her. But when he spots his wife Lata among the children, he cancels the plan for the moment.
Meanwhile, Raghav tries to comfort Shanaya and promises to get her a big raspberry cake with her photo on it. He heads to the bakery to place the order.
Dil’s uncle notices a hoarding featuring Raghav and decides to use it to set a trap for Nandini.
As the kids begin to leave, they praise Nandini and thank her for the wonderful party.
At the bakery, Raghav hears music playing and finds himself thinking of Nandini. He collects the cake and sets off.
Back at the party, Dil thanks Nandini for the surprise and mentions that while blowing out the candles, she wished for a father. The comment touches Nandini deeply, and Raghav crosses her mind. Meanwhile, Raghav recalls how Nandini had once gifted all her songs to him.
Natasha calls Raghav, reminding him that everyone is waiting for the cake. He assures her he’s on the way.
However, assuming Raghav won’t return, Natasha sends the guests home. Shanaya is furious and blames him for ruining her birthday.
While driving back, Nandini’s truck suffers a flat tire. As she prepares to step out, Dil affectionately calls her the best mother, stopping her for a moment. Nandini then gets down and notices Raghav’s hoarding, triggering a flood of memories.
At that moment, Dil’s uncle gives the signal. The goons drop the hoarding on Nandini, injuring her badly. She cries out for Dil in pain.
