The episode begins with Mohan contemplating whether he should reveal the groom’s identity to Katha. Just then, Katha arrives and tells him that because Eshwar had once helped during Naina’s wedding, she can’t refuse his proposal. She agrees to the marriage. Mohan questions her decision, asking why she’s sacrificing herself. Katha replies that her sacrifice is nothing compared to what Mohan and Vandana have done to raise her with love and dignity. Nearby, Naina feels upset with herself.
Mohan, however, feels it’s unfair to push Katha into a marriage against her will. Katha firmly says she’s not interested in knowing who the groom is. She distances herself emotionally from the family. Vandana tries to change her mind but fails. Disheartened, Mohan informs Eshwar that Katha has agreed to the marriage. Eshwar is thrilled.
Later, Katha gets ready to leave for college. Vandana asks her not to go alone now that her marriage is fixed, and urges her to start picking out her bridal clothes. Katha refuses coldly, saying she has no interest in any of it. Naina insists on accompanying her and steps inside to get ready. Mohan arrives, but Katha avoids him. Determined to reveal the truth, Mohan decides to show her the groom’s identity no matter what.
Vandana sees Mohan outside and approaches him. They talk about Katha’s silence and the emotional distance growing between her and Mohan. Katha overhears their conversation and asks Vandana to take Mohan inside to rest. Vandana tries to cheer her up, but Katha breaks down in tears. Mohan gently comforts her.
Meanwhile, at the Jindal house, Eshwar calls Rukmini and Nathu Lal to his room. He instructs Nathu Lal to gather all the elders. Curious, Rukmini asks why he’s so cheerful. Eshwar tells her that UV’s bride has agreed to the marriage—but refuses to reveal who she is. Rukmini is irritated by his secrecy.
When the family assembles, Eshwar tells Harshvardan that as UV’s father, he should be the first to know—UV’s wedding will happen soon. Harshvardan recalls how his previous marriage, arranged by Eshwar, had failed. But Eshwar assures him nothing will go wrong this time.
Eshwar assigns wedding responsibilities to his sons and daughters-in-law but continues to keep the bride’s identity a secret. Ambika is upset, and Vinith warns her to be cautious. Eshwar then privately stops Rukmini and reveals the truth—he has chosen Katha as UV’s bride. Rukmini is surprised and happy, but also concerned, pointing out how different Katha and UV are. Eshwar insists that Katha will transform UV for the better. He explains that Katha was the one who got UV released from prison, and she’s also the reason UV’s café was shut down. Rukmini is stunned.
Just then, UV walks in and confronts Eshwar for using Katha’s name. Eshwar is left speechless.
