In today’s episode, Abhira wonders why Arman hasn’t returned yet. She tries to convince herself not to worry, reminding herself that Arman is not a child. Determined to move on, she decides to make herself some noodles. Meanwhile, Arman, plagued by guilt, tells himself he can’t face Abhira anymore. He believes that Anshuman is a better match for her and that she deserves someone more stable. Arman reflects on how much Abhira has cried for him and concludes that it’s time for her to start afresh. He convinces himself that Anshuman will give her the happiness she truly deserves.
Abhira attempts to stop Arman, but he heads to his favorite secluded spot—only to find Kiara there. Arman tells her how much he missed her. Kiara, hurt, asks why he never called her in the past seven years. Arman checks in on how she’s doing, and Kiara replies that their chorus group fell apart after he left. She shares that Abhira used to come there often and cry for him. Kiara then tells Arman that Abhira has made the right choice by moving on with Anshuman, who can make her happy. Arman is left stunned.
Later, Arman pens a note for Abhira, confessing that he failed to tell her the truth about Myra. Just then, Myra, Geetanjali, and Dadu arrive. Arman is happy to see Myra. Geetanjali, however, is anxious that Abhira might take Myra away from them. Arman assures her that he hasn’t revealed anything. Grateful, Geetanjali thanks him for keeping the secret. Dadu mentions an upcoming wedding in the family, and Myra insists on attending. Arman agrees to let her go with them.
At home, Kaveri is enthusiastic about Abhira’s engagement and asks Vidya to stitch a blouse for the occasion. Vidya, uninterested, declines. Tanya arrives with an engagement dress for Abhira and encourages her to try it on. She notices Abhira’s lack of excitement and praises Anshuman, saying he would go to any lengths for her. Kaveri insists that Abhira is thrilled. Just then, Anshuman calls Kaveri and asks to meet her urgently.
Meanwhile, Arman loses his job. Myra innocently asks him for a new school dress, books, and a bag for the upcoming term. Geetanjali then asks him to pay the cab fare, promising to repay him later. Arman realizes he’s running out of money and begins to worry about how he will manage Myra’s needs.
Manoj secretly calls Arman to the office and informs him about the ongoing engagement preparations for Abhira and Anshuman. He remarks that Arman is clearly still in love with Abhira. Arman, however, refuses to talk about her.
Back at home, Abhira reflects on her engagement to Anshuman and admits to herself that she’s only agreeing to it out of pain and frustration over Arman. Determined to speak with Anshuman, she heads toward him—only to find him excitedly selecting his engagement outfit with Kaveri. Abhira is taken aback.
