The episode begins with Adit stepping in front of Mangal and apologizing for his behavior at the previous day’s function. Watching this, Sowmya becomes frustrated. She had worked hard to create a rift between Mangal and Adit, but fears that Adit’s simple apology could undo all her efforts. Determined to act, she quietly walks away.
Meanwhile, Kusum tells Mangal that after everything Adit did, she might not want to stay in the house anymore. She adds that if Mangal decides to leave, she won’t stop her. Just then, Sudesh, who overhears their conversation, calls out to Mangal and suddenly falls from his wheelchair. Both Mangal and Adit rush to help him.
It’s revealed that it was Sowmya who had brought Sudesh out of his room deliberately.
Adit and Mangal lift Sudesh onto the bed and try to revive him. Seizing the opportunity, Sowmya tries to turn Kusum against Mangal by suggesting that Sudesh fainted after overhearing their conversation about Mangal and Kapil’s engagement.
Mangal stays calm and tells Adit that the doctor had instructed her on how to respond in such situations. She quickly administers an injection, and Sudesh regains consciousness. Kusum clarifies that their earlier discussion was just a casual conversation.
Sudesh then notices the engagement ring on Mangal’s finger. Understanding his unspoken question, Mangal says, “Baba, I was going to tell you everything, but I didn’t know how.” Sudesh places his hand on her head and blesses her, saying, “I know you and Adit haven’t been happy in your marriage. You’re about to start a new chapter in life, and I give you my blessings.” Everyone is stunned, and Mangal becomes emotional.
Later, Mangal brings her luggage to the hall and asks Kusum to forgive her if she can. She bends to take Kusum’s blessings. With tears in her eyes, Kusum blesses her to always stay happy. She acknowledges that Mangal’s care helped Sudesh recover so quickly. She says, “Sudesh blessed you even in that condition. Your mother was right about me—I claimed to be your mother, but I never truly fulfilled that role. Now I want to. I want to do your vidaai from this house. Stay here until then, and spend some time with the children.” Mangal replies that her mother also wants this, and she cannot refuse.
Kusum then calls Shanti and informs her that Mangal came to collect her belongings. She confesses, “You were right—I never truly accepted Mangal as my daughter. But now, I want her to stay here one last time and leave as my daughter.” Shanti responds, “My daughter’s vidaai happened from your house six months ago—how can I send her again?” Kusum earnestly pleads for one more chance. Shanti agrees. Kusum thanks her and informs Mangal that Shanti has given her permission. She asks Mangal if she will stay. Just then, Sowmya, visibly angry, storms off.
Mangal sees Kapil nearby. He simply says, “Your decision is my decision.”
Suddenly, Sowmya reappears in the hall and tells Adit that Ishana is missing from her room. Everyone is left shocked.
