The episode opens with Padma informing Aarti that Anjali has eaten her food and urging her to return home soon. Aarti agrees but says she wants to cover a story on Kali first. Anjali then ends the call.
Later, Ved calls Aarti and speaks with her over the phone. He tells her that he’s coming to Mumbai and would like to finally meet so they can talk in person. Aarti agrees. Ved asks if she has seen his photo, but Aarti replies that she hasn’t. She says that’s what makes it more intriguing—they’re getting married without having seen each other’s faces. Aarti says she’ll talk to him later and ends the call. She then heads to the railway station with Kali in an auto.
Meanwhile, Raghav looks at Aman’s photo and reminisces about him. Gaurav notes how Raghav still misses Aman after all these years but reminds him that Aman had once asked them to sever ties with Anjali—the one he loved most. Gaurav suggests they bring Anjali home and begin her treatment. However, Raghav firmly shuts down the idea and harshly forbids any mention of Anjali.
Abhay joins the conversation and tells Gaurav that their once-happy home has felt empty ever since—and blames Anjali. He points out that Anjali was the actual target, but Aman died in her place. Gaurav then questions whether Raghav and Abhay truly believe they have no bond left with Anjali. Vaibhav enters and tells Gaurav that ever since Aman’s death, Anjali—whom he coldly refers to as “that widow”—has had no ties with their family.
Gaurav brings up the fact that Anjali was once pregnant and presses Raghav about the child. Raghav replies that the child, like Anjali, is dead to him. He declares that his only mission now is to find who was behind Aman’s death.
Just then, Bhajan enters and tells Raghav that after 21 years, it’s impossible to uncover Aman’s killer, especially since the case is closed. Gaurav confronts Bhajan and asks whose name had come up in the investigation—Chandraman, Yuvraj, or Bhajan himself. Mehek intervenes, reminding Gaurav that Bhajan is the Rajput family’s son-in-law and should not be spoken to so disrespectfully about an old case.
Elsewhere, Uday calls Bhajan. Bhajan asks if the call is about a case and reminds him that Raghav no longer handles investigations. He says he’ll deal with it himself. Uday clarifies that it’s not case-related—Ved’s wedding has been arranged. Bhajan congratulates him and asks who the bride is.
Meanwhile, Aarti tells Ganesh and Padma how she infiltrated the godown and secretly filmed evidence of a human trafficking operation. She also shares that she rescued a girl—Kali—and introduces her to them. Aarti informs them that Kali will now be staying with them. Padma and Ganesh object, but Aarti reminds Padma that she was once in a similar situation and Anjali had rescued her—so she should now do the same for Kali.
Later, Aarti asks Anjali to allow Kali to stay and tells her to blink if she agrees. Anjali blinks, and Aarti takes it as a yes. She then welcomes Kali into their home.
