The episode begins with Ishana feeling upset as she looks at Kapil during her birthday celebration. Kapil wishes her a happy birthday, but Ishana, recalling how he had slapped Adit, thanks him coldly.
Meanwhile, Pratima reassures Mangal not to worry, saying Kapil has a way with children. Mangal offers to get Pratima some juice and steps away.
Kapil approaches Ishana, asking to speak with her. Ishana, avoiding a public scene, says she can’t hear him over the music and tells him to come into the room. Kapil agrees.
Inside, Kapil apologizes for hitting her father, admitting it was a mistake. He asks for a fresh start and offers her a gift. Ishana, furious, knocks the gift from his hand and accuses him of pretending to care. Kapil explains that Mangal is worried about both of them and suggests moving forward. He picks up the gift and offers it again, but Ishana steps on it.
Elsewhere, Kusum offers sweets to Pratima, expressing joy that she and her husband will be doing Mangal’s kanyadaan. She’s happy about Mangal’s second marriage. Pratima feels emotional and says her friend has returned. Sowmya watches silently, thinking how easily friends can turn into enemies. Just then, Mangal greets Yash, Ishana’s friend, who arrives at the party.
Back in the room, Kapil tries to explain that Ishana misunderstood his conversation with his mother and insists he has no intention of separating Mangal from her children. Ishana reveals she sent a recording of his confession. Kapil urges her to listen, but Ishana refuses and yells at him. Yash witnesses the entire confrontation from the doorway.
Meanwhile, Mangal searches for Yash. She notices Adit slipping and rushes to help. Adit thanks her, thinking it’s Sowmya, but then realizes it’s Mangal. Just then, Sowmya shows up and offers to assist Adit. He comments that she doesn’t seem interested in the party, and Sowmya responds that Mangal is handling everything and hasn’t let her do anything.
Back in the room, Kapil warns Ishana not to create a scene with everyone outside. Ishana provokes him, saying if he really wants to slap her, he should go ahead. She then forcibly makes it appear as though Kapil hit her. Yash sees everything from the doorway.
Mangal brings out the cake and wonders where Ishana is. She asks Akshat to call her, but he’s too busy playing. Adit offers to go instead. Meanwhile, Kapil notices Yash at the door and walks out of the room.
Kapil approaches Mangal and says he needs to talk urgently. When Mangal asks what happened, he says things got out of control. Just then, Adit arrives and angrily confronts Kapil, asking how he dared to slap Ishana. Ishana, looking shaken, stands beside Adit. Mangal turns to her and asks what happened. As Kapil tries to explain, Adit points to the mark on Ishana’s cheek and says the truth is visible. Kapil insists he didn’t hit her and says he could never do such a thing. Ishana silently thinks that after this, Mangal will never forgive Kapil.
Kapil pleads with Mangal to believe him, reminding her, “You know me, Mangal ji.” Ishana interjects, “Yes, Mom, you know Kapil Uncle very well—but you don’t understand me.”
Kapil appeals to both Adit and Mangal for their trust. But Ishana continues, “Kapil scolded me the moment we entered the room. I’ve told you before, Mom—he never liked me or Akshat. And now, it’s been proven again.” Mangal looks on, torn and troubled.
